AGMs do a good deal of the work (along with the GM) getting offers and bring them to a table for everyone to discuss

Not sure how the situation has been handled poorly by Gorton. Gorton is waiting for the deal he wants. The team has been bad this year. They haven't won during Mac's tenure here. It is time to move on.

Hard to say for sure knowing as little as we do but I think its' pretty weird that our current captain wasn't at Ratelle night at all and has been "too hurt to play" for an absurdly long time. Sounds like he wants to go now whereas before they wanted to trade him.

Yeah, I actually think the Rangers have tried hard to keep this tight to the vest...sometimes there's nothing you can do. McD is a huge name...leaks are bound to happen. It's part of the process...
