I want him to reach 2nd season Mikko Rantanen stats.35 points in the season would have been excellent based off of last season but with the way he's played the last 30 games (even when he wasn't appearing of the score sheet) I'm expecting 40+ easy. What a beast he's turned into. Looks like all the pieces are starting to fall In place for him. His attitude towards the game is an attribute I overlooked when drafted. Keep it up!
Who would've thought the scoring ratio for 10 points in 39 Liiga games would be 11 points in 7 NHL games!
Can't see him not hitting 38 points with the way he's playingI want him to reach 2nd season Mikko Rantanen stats.
I keep going to the main boards to get a feel for what other fans are thinking about this incredible progression, but they keep getting shut down.
Are we not allowed to have nice things in the HF Universe?

Interesting interview with Hughes. Talking about drafting Slaf and his development.Kent Hughes: Súboj na drafte vôbec nebol tesný. Slafkovský bol jasná jednotka
Rozhovor s generálnym manažérom Montrealu uverejňujeme ako špeciálny diel rubriky Ráno z Montrealu.dennikn.sk
Just don't. I've been here for almost 20 years now it's always been the same : Main board vs Habs fanbase on the main boards. That said some of the guys on our side didn't help the situation.
I think it was OldCraig who said it perfectly. Don't go gloat on the main boards. It's pointless and useless and you will only get shit for it. Sometimes rightfully so but sometimes not rightfully. Just be neutral when you post here and have fun when you're on the Habs board. We're the villains here but just embrace it hahaha
No one will be happy for us. There is jealousy. Any excuse is good to take shots at him or Habs fans. Human nature unfortunately. It’s a fruitless exercise to get any validation there.I keep going to the main boards to get a feel for what other fans are thinking about this incredible progression, but they keep getting shut down.

If they do think he’s good you’ll see it when they’ll complain in their own team’s GDT.
I'm not looking to act on the thread I just want to read said thread.
Yes he deserves to be discussed but you won’t get a fair appraisal there of a Habs player unfortunately.I've been a hab fan for over 50 years, I understand the jealousy.
I still believe he deserves to be discussed, just my opinion.
He's been a great story this year in the NHL.
Alright man sorry. And i just realized you've been here longer than i've been if such thing is even possible lol
There is a bias against Habs fans on the main and trade boards. Leafs fans are also getting the same treatment (not that i care about Leafs fans but i have to be objective lol). I'm also a Patriots fan and it's the same shit on football forums. Big legendary franchises like the Montreal Canadiens , the New England Patriots and the NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox often get ganged up by other fanbases. It is what it is

Guaranteed they noticed Slaf’s stats blowing up. Guaranteed they aren’t amused anymore that Montreal drafted Slafkovsky. No I get it, I understand your point.
I just believe he deserves merit on the mainboards as a topic of discussion.
I like things salty though lol

This is exactly what will eventually happen. Hughes will use the same strategy he used with Cole Caufield. You offer Slaf something along Suzuki and Caufield contract, and you pray.
A difficult stretch for this fabled franchise has been made tolerable with the emergence of Juraj Slafkovsky.
To have been immersed with watching the 70's dynasty it has been challenging to watch the past many yearsLOL at difficult stretch, that's putting it mildly.
