One goalie is the worst in the league facing Kopitar, Byfield, etcyep. Came here to highlight that both goalies posted a .800 SV%
The other one is facing perennial hart/rocket winners

Not theirs I would assume. I’m not sure the Oilers had a single HDSC until they actually scored. One goalie faced twice as many high danger chances.
Also an awful coaching decision to dress Josh brown over Dineen and play him less than 5 minutes. Knobloch has a lot to look in the mirror for this game.McDavid and Draisatl on for 5 min straight was a mistake, they should have sat after the tying goal. Blame Skinner all you want both goalies had the same save percentage. Was snowed and screened by Fogael on the last flukey one.
Cheering for the team to lose is a hell of a thing. McDavid would be gone so fast.Best thing for this team is to get swept and Skinner let in 5 a night.
Changes would finally be made in net and we can win a few cups.
Kings had a whole line that played less then that, we only needed 5 D tonight. Also an awful coaching decision to dress Josh brown over Dineen and play him less than 5 minutes. Knobloch has a lot to look in the mirror for this game.
Skinner fans will undoubtedly say “well maybe the team shouldn’t decide to play until the last period”, and while I agree with that it would be nice if we had a goalie that wouldn’t continue to spot the other team 3-4 goals before we found our legs. And this isn’t even a once a while thing with Skinner but it’s a continual theme with him. Put us down for the count, only to cue the miraculous comeback, and then once again lose it for them. I mean, we all knew what was going to happen after the Oilers tied it. It’s what always happens. You just know Skinner is letting in that next goal.Skinner was never going to let us win this game
There’s a reason this guy only had a couple more wins than the back up. He’s a .500 winning goalie this year and if we didn’t have Pickard wouldn’t even be playing in the playoffs.Skinner fans will undoubtedly say “well maybe the team shouldn’t decide to play until the last period”, and while I agree with that it would be nice if we had a goalie that wouldn’t continue to spot the other team 3-4 goals before we found our legs. Could you please summarize Stu's blunders on Goals 1, 3, and 4?And who cares? Their goalies save percentage has nothing to do with our goalies blunders, it’s irrelevant and in no way justifies anything swiss cheese Stu does
What does this even mean? It's a nonsense phrase that broadcasters started using to describe goalies with tempers, like Mike Smith.Difference with Pickard is he battles like crazy.
The Kings didn't have one 5 on 5 until they were up 3-0 lol. 11-5 Oilers at evens, 14-8 overall. Not theirs I would assume. I’m not sure the Oilers had a single HDSC until they actually scored.
I thought we needed a goalie by the start of the season, how these morons haven't been able to figure that out yet, is beyond me.Imagine thinking we didn’t need a goaltender and the deadline
Smith is the best goalie we have had in 19 yearsWhat does this even mean? It's a nonsense phrase that broadcasters started using to describe goalies with tempers, like Mike Smith.
Fans have swallowed up this nothing-burger as if it's a thing. I don't give a rat's ass if the Oilers' goalie looks like he's "battling" or not. I care if he stops the puck.
I swear, it's only because Mike Smith looked like a "battler" that many Oilers fans think he was good. (He was not.)
Lmao sorry but watching the game I seriously can’t believe that. The team was completely absent for basically two periods and had all of six shots in halfway through the game. The Kings didn't have one 5 on 5 until they were up 3-0 lol. 11-5 Oilers at evens, 14-8 overall.
You mean this guy?:Smith is the best goalie we have had in 19 years
You mean this guy?:
In this game, only Nuge (of all people!) scoring late in the third saved Smith from this being maybe the 2nd-worst blunder in Oiler playoff history.

He was nowhere near 2017 Talbot. Too bad he fell off a cliff after.Smith is the best goalie we have had in 19 years
Fire them for having him this season. They would have been better off with some unknown goalie than this.Imagine this team with a real goalie.
Fire Bowman and Jackson if that sieve piece of shit is here next season
And fire Knob if he doesn't start Pickard next game
Lmao!!!!Start Grant Fuhr. Start my grandma. Start Carrot top. Anybody, literally anybody but Skinner, for the love of God lol
