Well, the Bs have the Merlot Line and it looks like Crosby is lobbying his to go by the Fine Whine Line.

:laugh::nod:

Looks like the new ref complaint is the same as the old one-Soupy's daddy is rigging the games so the Bruins win.

Some people are stupid.

I don't even think this game was that poorly reffed-there were some missed calls but nothing that would have changed the game in a significant way. I have seen far worse reffed games than last night's. shoot last night's is probably one of the better reffed games.

I honestly think the bad reffing is more incompetence than conspiracy with a dash of reputation thrown in.

This new whine strategy is intended to get in the refs heads so the Pens get more PP.

I hope the refs don't bite.

This is so sad.

Crosby was asked about the rough stuff at the end of the 2nd period and he responded:

Crosby: "They're letting a lot go out there, and the more it gets like that, the more it’s going to escalate. You can only control and channel that stuff so much. You keep letting guys do that stuff; you’re just going to push the envelope.

Crosby: "That’s something we obviously want to stay away from, but it’s kind of a natural thing when it gets like that."

Hardly whining and the yahoo article is crap but some want to see what they want to see. The refs did let a lot go post whistle and it spilled over at the end of the second period. Malkin and Crosby were frustrated and they lost their cool. This played right into the Bruins strength and IMO had a lot to do with the Penguins abysmal 3rd period. Which Crosby also commented on after the game:

Crosby: "We’ve just got to focus on playing."

I really wouldn’t read too much into Cosby’s quoted comments which can be taken completely out of context without knowing the original question. Again rather than bashing Crosby for his perceived “whining” after the game Bruins fans should be thanking him and Malkin for losing their cool at the end of the 2nd period; playing right into a Bruins known strength.

Dude, he hit the goalie and then pushed Chara, and started chirping him while he was behind the ref. Kid is bush league.

Well still an odd whine given that the Pens were starting most of the crap-at least after the whistle-and it's the playoffs after whistle chippy. Rap is a given. Crosby needs to suck it up and play through it.

Haha, "hit the goalie" and "pushed Chara"???? You are a Bruins fan right? The same "BIG BAD BRUINS" that I watch? And I could not care less what you think of my "act"...... If you don't like what I have to say then ignore it because I am not going away.

He skates right into Rask after the period is over and gets pissed when Rask gives him a love tap slash back. It doesn't matter if he shoved him to the ground or just touched him. It's bush league. You don't do that to the opposing net minder. Periods over and you decide to be a dingus to the goalie? Kid deserves anything that happens to him, and the whining is comical.

If you watch the video, Cindy Snaggletooth goes after Task, slashes Marchand, pushes Chara at the end of the second period but Chara is the one who the ref tells to leave. The plan is: complain, get the calls, score on the PP. But I don't thnk crying was part of their plan. Cindy, go to your room!

I agree given how the comments are being presented but I think Crosby was just saying that they need to stay focused and not lose their cool. I am sure the Penguins are very aware that the Bruins push the limits post whistle and that they needed to keep calm and stay on their game. They didn't, probably due to frustration over Rask standing on his head, and I think his comments reflect more of a frustration in themselves than anything the Bruins or Refs did.

Being a "big bad Bruins fan," you should be able to spot a phony all-bark, no-bite player like Crosby rather easily.

Ok, comments aside. He still came off as a whinny little bit h. That's based on actions alone. Bumping Rask, yapping at Chara (behind the safety of the ref), the slash on Seguin, the hacking in the faceoff circle...just to name a few. This has been his MO since day one and now it's to the point where he actually feels entitled to special treatment.

Maybe he'll get tired of it and take his puck and go home, oh wait his boss and mentor already did that.

Sidney Crosby is a punk, plain and simple.

We should all sign a petition to have Julien send Thornton after Crosby. lol. Would be amazing if that happened.

Honestly, the more Crosby *****es and throws a temper tantrum, the worse he is. The whinefest just means you guys did a great job of frustrating him and shutting him down.

Haha, I am not going to sit here and delve into incident after incident but I like the fact that Crosby plays on the edge just like I enjoy most of the Bruins doing the same. Had Lucic or Marchand done the same thing, and please don't pretend like they would never, it would be a different story. This is really a non issue and I just find the hypocrisy to be hilarious. Whining about whining about whining.

Don’t let me ruin your good time though, carry on.

I'm sorry, but after two rounds against two quite honorable opposing teams, the sniveling and mewling emanating from the hypocritical, entitled jaw of #87 stands out in sharp relief. Never mind our opinion as B's fans: hell, if I were a Pens fan I would be appalled to see such antics by the so-called captain of my team.

DUDE you can like that Crosby "plays on edge" like the Bruins do, but name one time under the CJ era we come out and talk to reporters about the officials, one time, we play on edge but then we do NOT go whine to the media about the refs thats the differnce do you not get it this is about the whinning our players do not do, Crosby whines thats what this thread is about!

Difference being, Lucic and Marchand wouldn't be hiding behind a ref with their gloves sewn to their jerseys.

You wanna act like a punk at least man up and face it when taken to task. Zero respect for anyone who can't take responsibility for their own actions.

Tweet has 87 retweets and 6 favorites, be nice if the FBI arrested these people, it does warrent it imo.

I think your comment may be even stupider than the actual tweet. He made a stupid comment in the heat of the moment. Does that excuse him from making such a dumb comment? No, absolutely not. However, for you to want to get the FBI involved..........

Now, I can't tell if you're trolling, being serious, or have just missed the last five years of hockey.

Do the Bruins complain a lot about officiating? No, the team certainly does not, but Julien and players have spoken to the media complaining about calls on multiple occasions.

I am not going to argue with you man. It's pointless.
