..it’s your impatience that’s setting record time- their young guys are improving, this was always gonna be an ugly season for ‘em overall, though. They’re thinking playoffs in 2, 3 years, it can’t even really be a tire fire yet. They haven’t even accumulated enough tires, yet.

If their coach was Tortorella, I doubt Celebrini would have as much TOI and points, but the team would play better (and more boring) for sure. Of course the chance for another 1st OA would be much lower too...

Your team is the suckiest bunch of sucks and you call me salty... But you're kinda right, I'd personally prefer Michkov winning Calder than the Flyers miss the playoffs again for a couple points because their coach makes them much better than they actually are.

But it's NHL, where most teams prefer to play as hard as possible save few ones like Sharks...

I, too, am surprised that the worst team of the cap era is still bad after adding an 18 year old center and a 2nd pair D man to fix their issues

tl;dr for those who don't follow closely, the Sharks teardown only started the day they traded Brent Burns, July 13, 2022, they turbotanked for 2 years and only just began the building process this previous offseason

If you expected a 19 win team to turn into a respectable club in one offseason then you had outsized expectations, I have been adamant that this was the worst roster in the league from the get-go, everyone should have expected this season to look like this
