Happy af that the Nucks are doing well this year. One of my boys is getting into hockey finally as a Vancouver resident.

anaheim roster also garbadge team. being player playing in this division since many years easy getting free easy made points to scoreboards jumbothrone in scoring league race. like meeting some yogoslavia hockey team many time juring season and building up on stats and getting not deserved raise. look at mediocre german. how many more year he easy putting up points before division filled with some skill player. edmonton industry heavy in for selling team dresses as mediocre german setted up for playing almost 30 min at per game. they seem to like going on some experiment in edmonton. try making mediocre german playing full PPs and half games and see how far in points this coming up with. how come division so weak year after year? mcdavits also only speed. very free lane he having. no attacking at him. no nothing they like letting he skate unattacked night after night. .hope something changes this. more competition to this division . smack these freecomers up. make them pay . get them out of lane. thank you

You can come in last place without being this bad. Sharks should have been signing veteran players in free agency that they could flip for more assets at the deadline. They wouldn’t be this embarrassingly bad.
The Sharks’ roster is full of vets who will be available for trade at the TDL.

As an Islanders fan i’m predicting this. San Jose get its first shutout vs the Islanders on December 5th while starting a goalie they brought up from the AHL for his first NHL start.
That is how the Sharks lose (face is with a back-up goalie and a rookie who has never scored a goal in the NHL and guess what happens?), might be interesting if that is how they win as well.

There are some rumors, as well, that Meier specifically requested a trade to New Jersey, citing the Swiss roster core group of Hischier, Siegenthaler, and Schmid. Carolina allegedly offered a stronger trade package but Grier wanted to fulfill Meier's desired destination.
Did you just start those rumors?

Granted it is early, but they are runaway winners as the worst team in the NHL so far. 10 goals in 10 games. 45 goals against too. 1 point. Oh brother. That stings a lot right now, and a 10-1 loss to the Canucks the other night too, at home.

If I had to say since 2000 or so, the worst team I have likely seen is probably the Red Wings of 2020. 39 points even in just 71 games (most teams missed 10-12 games that year) is pretty bad especially with the loser point and the shootout. In back to back years it has to be the Sabres of 2014 and 2015. Prior to that Atlanta in 2000 and Tampa in back to back years in 1998 and 1999. Those were all bad teams. I don't even remember why Colorado was so bad in 2017 with 48 points but they were 21 behind the next worst. On paper they looked alright. They had the name recognition even if their core was young and hadn't "arrived" yet.

But when a team is miles behind as the worst team in the NHL you take notice. So far that is the Sharks. Their roster indicates it won't get better either. With Edmonton only having 5 points you know somewhere along the way McDavid and Draisaitl are going to deliver and they likely get in the playoffs and maybe even finish 2nd in their division. But who gives you any confidence on the Sharks? No one.

Looking good so far... a goal!
