"Soulless" seems perfect. That doesn't even just apply to the players, but to the entire corporate experience you get going to the arena for a game or watching on TV.

I was between 'Skilled' and 'Soft' for the second choice. I was going to go with Skilled, but if you think about it one of the biggest problems has been the lack of skill outside of the big names.

There was so much optimism five or six years ago. It's hard to see what has happened since then but we hope for the best.

Its interesting that many of us grew up with hard glue players like Salming, Clark, Gilmour and there isn't even a sniff of that type of player on the Leafs. Benn threw two hits and the crow lost their minds like we had Pronger in his prime. This city has always had an affinity towards blue collar, hard players, the play the game right. For those of you that can remember the Clark - Sundin trade, although Sundin was by far the more talented player, you would have thought we traded Gretzky for Domi .

The big four are clearly going no where in a trade, Dubas needs to build a Maltby-Draper- McCarty grind line that is so miserable to play against .. not sure Malgin-Engvall Jarnkrok fit that miserable to play against label.

Skilled, Soulless and Soft.
