That's what I figured. He'd be a solid Skinner replacement, and wouldn't cost assets. Needs to be a short-term deal, though.
I dunno, Im a bit intrigued with what they do with the bottom-6 after the Beck trade. I'm actually a bit relieved they scoped a guy out, saw his usage and what he was still capable, and upped the offer enough to pry him out of Washington. I dont think they had him on the market at all, so it needed to be an offer that was hard to refuse, and that gives me hope that Adams cares more about building a winning hockey team rather than winning trades on HFboards.
