I don't think Altieri is saying everyone has a hashtag. I think he's saying you can customize that part of the ring and that's what he and some of his co-workers have chosen. Of course, I could be wrong as well.

I think they look alright. I like the simplicity of them and that the top isn't clutters with dates and things like that. I am not a fan of our homeplate logo, but I don't mind the ring being designed that way since that is what our logo is.

I personally don't like it either. That being said, they probably voted on it and wanted it. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I agree. But for them, probably not. They earned the right to put whatever the heck they want on it, fans judgment be damned.

Honestly, it's not like the hashtag is in a prominently visible location on the ring. It's the bottom side of the loop where people won't see it unless you make a point of showing it.
