Yes, I play one or the other every other year, pretty much whenever a new release or mod comes out. They're my happy place.

Yup. I play those and Brutal Doom. The originals can be clunky but if you are using a source port the games are still fun today. Granted, I am biased, because I don't play new games.

I just discovered The Unseen N64 mod for Doom 1 and 2. Play beautifully. Brutal Doom is also fantastic, I agree. I hardly play anything new myself.
