New way to run Doom just dropped

Anyone here played or still play A Bridge Too Far?
It's a Microsoft game made around 1998. Graphics are fine for the era, strategy is ok. There is a lot of fields battles to pick, I prefer Tulip Fields and the Dunes, the last one. I like when I can have tanks. The germans are so strong and efficient with all their units and weapons. If I want to win I need a lot of terrain knowlage, strategy and patience. Make the right move at the right time. The sounds are well made, when there is no action battle, we can hear flyes, cows and dogs barking. It's a good way to learn german, like when they say don't shoot, they say Nich Teasen.

Finally acquired a CRT and got my retro game systems set up in the man cave after about a year of being in the new house.

The Sega and Nintendo have been sitting in storage bins for years, I’m so glad to finally have them displayed and working.

I had to get an RFU adapter for the PS2, as the CRT I have doesn’t have A/V hookups, so I run it through the Coax port. Works like a charm.

Thanks, the paneling definitely helps fit the retro gaming vibe.

I’d like to get a SNES at some point and a Sega Saturn, prices for Saturns are crazy though. I’ve mostly limited how much older gaming stuff I was getting since I didn’t really have an actual setup yet. Lol.

Currently I’m playing FF Tactics and NBA Street Vol 2 and having a blast!

'Retro' should be as much style/substance as just calendar years, especially considering with video games compared to the earlier days of rapid progress things hardly change anymore. I mean the PS3 plays Skyrim.

My own personal take but I'd go back one more generation and say anything PS1/N64 and before is 'retro', PS2/XBox and after is 'modern'. Though I understand if others want to shift that one to the right.
