If Avs are trying to push this whole Avs New Age thing then we need to scrap the horrific jerseys, too much failure has happened with the set we have now, so let's start something new please!!

Unless they have to pay a major fee and/or buy all the unsold merchandise, I don't get why they wouldn't want to change it up. Most of the other teams quickly realized how hideous the piping is on the jerseys and made changes.

You would think that a change in style would cause a spike in sales with a lot of people wanting a jersey that matches the current team out on the ice.

I've never even really thought about this but wow, you're right. Since we took on the ugly jerseys the Avs have played playoff hockey 3 times.

And we've had them for awhile! It's definately time to ditch them, and all of that era will be left behind!

I don't think they would put every jersey on sale just to add a patch. They aren't selling the Caps jerseys with their 40th patch. Besides it makes no sense as they would just have to put them on clearance again after next season.

Maybe the Avs are going full redo or throwback and they have just been able to keep it under wraps.
 
Avs love their secrecy no matter what they're doing but this seems too big to keep under wraps. Too many outside people involved for it not to leak if they're really introducing three new jerseys.

Those are just fine otherwise but I don't like the foot logo on the chest at all. Even if it is a regular on concepts.

I think the first two are fine but if they are ever going to use blue as a primary colour on a jersey I don't think they can come up with anything better than they already have. The blueberry's aren't great by any means but it's as good as it gets for as ugly a colour it is. I think throwing a giant foot on the front of it is just beating the dead horse.

The away jersey is decent, but the home one just doesn't look right to me. Too much blue, the 3rd would look better with a different logo, definitely not the foot.

And in general any Avs jersey doesn't look right with the traditional hockey jersey. Ones like Avs_19 posted are more so ones that suit the Avs, they should've never went away from that. Damn Reebok.

It's not a bad idea, bringing back the mountain theme in a simplified way, but it looks a little lacking somehow. The idea is okay, but the execution doesn't help at all. The colors on the logos and the colors on the jerseys don't match. I think I see at least three different shades of grey used. The grey used in the striping is too light, it blends into the white. There needs to be a little contrast there. Also, as much as I like the bigfoot logo, it just isn't strong enough to be used as a main crest on the blue third. Stick to the COLORADO script or just use the main ''A'' logo.
Overall, it isn't a terrible concept, it just needs some work done on it.

They probably weren't Avs fans either. Fellow fans are harder to please and are more vocal in disapproval since they're more invested in their team.

NO THANKS! The more I see them, the more I dislike 'em. I really hope they don't change to something like that. At first I didn't mind them, but now they just look ugly! Not quite as bad as the uniprons, but not much better either.

I think fellow fans are easy to please as long as you do a standard dull original six knock-off with no black on the numbers, gloves, pants or helmets.
