The icing calls were the most frustrating for me.The fact remains that the two huge blown calls turned the series. One, specifically, that led to a goal and a huge momentum swing. The other thing that people fail to realize is that the Rangers game is predicated upon speed and offensive zone attack, which was COMPLETELY nullified by the ridiculous amount of obstruction and interference the kings got away with. The kings led for a grand total of approx. 40 minutes in this 5 game series, of which, contained 2 double overtimes an on single overtime. I hardly call that dominating, even with help from the refs and the linesmen. By the by, what is up with all the BS icing calls?
In the third periods of Games 1 & 5 the Kings kicked it up to another level that the Rangers weren't able to match. Excluding that (which is by no means fair) the play was pretty level.
