A friend of mine got a cockapoo (cocker spaniel/poodle mix, although she’s a couple generations removed) for his daughter and she is the absolute sweetest dog ever.

The first dog I got on my own as an adult was a cockapoo. Great little guy. Barked A LOT. He looked just like her but only one little white spot on his chest.

Meanwhile Ms Willow is settling in just fine.

Brutus fell asleep sulking while we were outside staining the deck. Tough to tell with the glare, but he's leaning on the side of our grill which we moved into the kitchen for the time being. You can see the wrinkle in the grill cover.

Speaking of hot weather and pets, has anyone ever had a cat that pants? We've started letting the youngest cat out on a very limited basis. She's a tuxedo, and in this heat she starts panting after a bit. I get her back in as soon as I see her doing it. Just curious if anyone else has seen something like that.

We had 3 hours of jacksssery. There is a large hole in the clearing diagonally to our backyard from the worst offender. 2 other dipshits decided to join the fun. I ended up playing the piano which seemed to help. Snoop was panting like crazy and trembling before that
