I truly feel sorry for him, just about MORE than any other Ranger in my fandom history. He just blasted that last shot that went wide, trying to put it THROUGH the net. He just seems so frustrated in not getting a chance to play regularly with a crappy team. He is FORCING everything and the play isn't "coming to him". If and WHEN it ever does.....this kid will flourish. Unfortunately, his emotions are still screwing him up. Yet, i dont even blame him ONE BIT.
Yea exactly, and the story of his Rangers career so far is exactly what happened on that last goal. He makes a nice play to Boo Nieves wide open in front of the net. Then Boo f***s it up (goes off his face I think), yet HE ends up getting the assist, rather than DeAngelo, whose play made the goal happen (Boo should have scored anyway, but he has awful hands). Agree that his emotions get the best of him. Such a shame. Talented hockey player, but he needs to calm down a bit.

Congrats to Jim Dolan on his teams going a combined 1-8 on their road trips, now hit his music.

You feel more sorry for ADA “just about more” than any other Ranger in your history?

Why would anyone want our young talent to play on this team? This is the kind of environment that stifles growth and ruins prospects. I'm extremely worried about Chytil and Howden if the Rangers continue like this for the rest of the season.
Pretty sure he was being a bit facetious about getting Kravtsov and Miller here.
Agreed and therein lies the crux in this whole rebuilding with trying to get the highest pick possible. Bad losing environment usually going hand in hand with low production from many of our developing players (chytil, howden, Buch, etc). Totally understand trying to get a top 5 pick this year. Hopefully we start to see a bit of an upward trend

The only evidence that this is a “tank is a bad learning environment” is refusal to admit some of these prospects were unbelievably and unbearingly over rated.

Superstars somehow survive. Superstars cutting their teeth on the wastebins of the league is as old as the draft itself, and those guys made it.

Indeed I was. I want to watch them play for us, but A) It’s too soon and I don’t think they can leave their respective teams until each season ends and B) It is a bad environment to play in for sure.

We never fail to overrate our prospects. We’re almost as bad as Canucks fans.

I know that I have never thought of Howden and Chytil as anything close to superstars, so thinking this team is perhaps becoming now not such a great place for them to learn their trade (unlike earlier in the season) is becoming more real to me.
'superstar' implies that they just land anywhere and make everyone around them better.

All I am saying is that I am now thinking more about the environment in which prospects are playing.
Edit: I am happy with what Quinn is doing, and am happy with gutting it out through a rebuild, but the team that is iced is just so talent-thin.

Better find a church and pray for this team. But seriously, Dolan, even better find a good coach, Joel Quenneville is available, you missed out on getting him couple of times, looks like you will miss out this time as well.

Missed it and my DVR decided to not record it...guessing we had too many 10pm shows and this one got the boot. I see the score and read how the goals were scored....but how did we play, like...real insight...was it a crappy effort again?

I tuned in and out due to work and general disinterest; but the best way I would describe what I saw is 'individualistic'. For the most part the effort levels were better than the previous few games (not saying much) but there's no sense to team of cohesion. Good plays happen due to an individual having a good individual moment and bad plays are happening because of the lack of cohesion.

It really seems like we just need the TDL to get here so that everyone has a better understanding of where they stand moving forward

I understand that ADA has to be responsible for his own actions, but he never takes that misconduct if that f***ing homunculus McLeod doesn't start that whole dispute for no reason.

One of my least favorite Rangers ever.
