I thought Shattenkirk was an offensive guy, with how awful his shooting has been it’s hard to believe

All of our defenseman are absolutely pathetic at shooting. But it’s been like that since I started watching this team.

You’re right. That’s actually a very good point, and I noticed that as well. They’re either defensive defensemen who can barely create offense, or playmaking defensemen. Or they just suck. Even McDonagh didn’t have a great shot. And funny enough, Girardi’s wasn’t bad.

The forwards are staring at the puck and have no idea where their man is.
