I’ve said it all year imagine putting an elite player in Panarin next to Mika and watch him go off. Finally has Zucc playing well next to him and look what’s he’s doing.

He’s a 90 pt player with an elite player next to him all year.

By the way buchnevich skated the best I’ve ever seen him skate in that third period.

Pionk like I’ve said I’d give him away for free just to get DeAngelo back in that spot. He’s absolutely atrocious. We keep playing him we’ll lose plenty of games.

Jimmy Vesey Sucks. I cannot wait till he’s gone as well. Him and namestnikov please blow these two out.

Honestly it seems to change more when the team loses (and i'm for sacrificing this one season and getting as high a pick as possible). It seems when we lose a few games that we are the worst team in hockey by far but when we win 4 of 5 its usually pretty quiet.

They've played like the worst team (or one of the worst) in the league farrrrr more often than they haven't.

They're 6 points better than they should be and about to move 1/3rd of their top 6 with a pretty rough March on the horizon (really, after next week it gets pretty tough, and they play some quality opponents over that span too.)

Lets give him a little bit of credit. He was really good. We should be rooting very hard for him. There are some teams out there that could use him and maybe pony up a first. He's put up now what 13 points in his last 9 games?

He's for sure played better, but he hasn't been as good as his stat line has looked.

This was easily his best game of his renaissance though. Legitimately looked like a guy some teams may actually want to give up a 1st for.

Once Zibanejad's line started going the Devils couldn't control it and Quinn kept on playing and playing it. Fantastic game for Zibanejad. A really good game for Henrik too--he made some hellacious saves.

I thought Buchnevich played really well.

Anyway upstate we're so lucky that we have to watch the Devils feed. The Devils female analyst (don't know her name) talking up the Devils and how well they're playing lately and then feels the need to say how unimpressive the Rangers season has been---so it's like the team that's really rebuilding and has the better record stinks and their analysts and play by play guy going on all night long about how they're still figuring on getting into the playoffs. 5 games under .500 at the 50 game mark? I mean really!!?!? You think so??!? Yes--we're kind of shit but don't be talking shit when your team has been even shittier. Then Cangelosi taking a sly shot at Lundqvist because we'll never get through a game without doing that. So according to Cangelosi Martin Brodeur made the point that the reason why Lundqvist is so far up the list of career wins is that since coming into the league there have been no tie games. Yes, yes that's true but they're always looking for a putdown.

Devils fan coming in to say good game. Well, who I am kidding, the Devs are coached by a f***ing moron that should've been shit canned 3 months ago and thrown off the GW. Z's third goal for the hatty was nice. Didn't realize he's having the season he's having.

I actually have to give credit to Sam and Joe for once, they actually called something correctly. They said the Debbies had no answer for the ZZK line and literally a second or 2 later Mika got the hat trick goal.

The Devils announcers are atrocious. Cangelosi is a little puke. The Piles announcers aren't much better. Sam and Joe have their moments but are so much better than the others and they never disrespect rival teams.

I've watched some pretty bad teams this year (Just like last year). This team has stretches of bad and ok. Unfortunately, to be a bottom 3 team you have to be a lot more bad than good. Let's hope with the tougher schedule that they fall a bit more down the standings but I don't have much faith in a lot of those bottom 5/6 teams to play well enough.

Zuccs has been great the last while. Seriously wondered what happened to his mojo in the first half of the season but this is the old Mats again.
Whatever happens with him, I love watching him when he plays like this. He is predatory.
I really hope that we trade him and then sign him back in the offseason. Before anyone says "we're rebuilding, play the kids" - yes, we're rebuilding, but you need veteran players to 1) teach the kids, and 2) insulate the kids.

I found the play by play to be pretty decent, technically. I don't even know these guys, but the main guy was not bad at all. He had decent analysis on the fly, I thought.
Sam and Joe I like a lot, and still consider them overall top 5 in the league. Once in a while, I purposely watch the opposition feed.

I heard that too. Cangelosi/Brodeur can say whatever they want, point is there was a hockey game tonight and Lundqvist was on the winning end.

I think Cangelosi is and has always been a little puke. He never misses an opportunity to take a shot at the Rangers. Very unprofessional. I take Sam and Joe over them every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

You know how it is, when you come to a new team and start to like it there, you want to stay. So I doubt he'll return.

Btw...Saturday against Tampa will be Zucc's game number 500 for the Rangers, and perhaps his last.

They have been.

Outside of the 9-1-1 stretch, they're 13-20-6.

Thats a bad team. The annoying thing is they've been crazy lucky despite being bad. Like they should have won against Philly earlier this week but I can point to a dozen games that they've won or gotten a point out of where they shouldn't have been awarded any.

Yeah I don't always agree with Sam and Joe but they're respectful to the other teams' coaches and players. They praise the other side a lot. I don't get that vibe from a lot of other broadcast teams. It's almost like the other teams in the league have no players worthy of praise according to some homer announcers. It's really silly. The league is full of great players.

Thats funny, the only reason Broduer is in the hall of fame is because of the team he had in front of him.

Quinn on why ADA was scratched:

I thought something needed to happen. (Meaning he wasn't doing something Quinn was looking for, again.)

This cryptic sh*t needs to end. Just flip him at the deadline if there's no future for him here

I agree about Sam and Joe, I also prefer them to just about any tandem league-wide. Just never noticed a ton of egregious things on the NJ play by play. When the Rangers were overpowering the Debs, I heard them say it, when Henrik made a great save, I heard them give credit.
Maybe I wasn't listening closely enough all the time, I'll give you that.

They need to unload Hayes and Zucc. with those guys the Rangers are not getting a top 5 pick which they obviously need.
