Nieves hasn't really done much most of the season, albeit on the 4th line, but you put him with good players and he shows a little something.

You put other 4th liners with good players and the good players take up drinking.
Yupp. But also, not noticing a 4th liner is a good thing, I would say.

Depends on the 4th liner, I guess.

If it's a very good 4th liner like a Dom Moore, I wanna see him. If it's a guy like McLeod, I can't possibly notice him doing anything good, so I would prefer he stays quiet.

Gonna miss Nasher's camera stares. Actually, already do. Thanks for those lasting memories/stares tonight. Despite everything, he was a good Ranger. I guess he left us wanting more though.

Well, you had to at least know “Boo” is a nickname, right?
I’ve always known his name was Cristoval and Boo was the nickname but I haven’t seen anyone call him Cristoval in so long that it just slipped my mind, seeing “Cristoval Nieves” felt weird

As awful as he is I don't think anyone would blame him for not seeing that coming.
Well, he acquired Strome because he thought he could still become that. So I wouldn’t say no one would see it coming. And I just think he looked at Spooner’s points last season, compared them to Strome’s, and was fooled. I wouldn’t necessarily blame him either, but it would still be an awful trade (the outcome).

Sorry, I meant to say “remember” that Boo is just his nickname.

The problem is that he is too classy of q guy who immediately walks off like all other players do.

So it's pretty much state into camera. Or stare into interviewer during the outro which is even creepier

I agree with the latter because it seems like he certainly didn't do any hw on Spooner at all. Still early for this trade, I'd like to see Strome keeps this up. That would be a pretty major boost to this organization if it can.
