What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerSo what will everyone do if the Habs actually have a good season this year.
Will you guys watch more, be invested more?
Be pissed at the team?
More anger? Less anger?
EDIT
Since some are asking whats a "good season", it would be the habs being in the top 3 of the division pretty much all season long.
I won't take playoffs into account since I am talking about the reaction during the season.
It's easy to say that you want this team to lose as much as possible right now but if this team starts miraculously winning games, that narrative will change dramatically to full on support of a playoff push.
I'm pretty sure Devils and Avs fans weren't expecting to make the playoffs this year but they sure as hell weren't angry that they did. Things can change so dramatically in this league.
That being said, I don't think this team will even come close to sniffing a playoff spot this year.
Still like the AHL move to Laval, one of the best décisions they have made in recent times.
Now they just have to fill it with a lot of good young talent and nurture them.
Whats the definition of a good season? If it means winning the division only to lose in the first round, then I will be upset because we still have MANY MANY issues but with a much lower pick. Contrary to what Bergevin says, you can't just put together a team with many holes and pray that they make the playoffs while having a "anything can happen in the playoffs" mentality.
Just reading about Johnathan Davidsson, a Columbus prospect who advised that if he doesn`t make the Jackets he will go back to Sweden for the season. The Habs went heavy on Euro prospects early in the draft this year, so don`t know how much time they will end up in the AHL. Lekhonen was able to skip the AHL and make the adjustment to NA hockey, so can be no big deal for some players. I just believe it`s a good idea to get your prospects together if possible. to get some familiarity progressing and learning how to win as a group. This year will have some interesting guys though no one truly exciting. Maybe Fleury and Evans. Next couple years will be better. We'll likely have a lot of pro graduates out of this last draft class. 2 years from now will be fun.

Not me! I rather come last that come 7th or 8th... honestly the lottery draft was more exciting that a 1st round playoff exit. Especially when we were top 3 it really brought home of winning!I can just see the posts if the team wins more games than it loses:
&*%$#@, another win! That Bergevin's a tool. Julien is a moron. They can't even properly lose games!
Armia for me is a bright spot
Our young forwards will get plenty of icetime
Those elite results would require Price getting decent support from the D. Without Weber it's very unlikely. But not impossible. Mete and Juulsen are two interesting wildcards who'll be leaned on more and could have a bigger impact than we're expecting. If Price ends the season with something around .930 Sv% and plays around 60 games this team will make the PO next season.
