Agreed. As long as it's only for the regular season games, give me McKegg all day. Hajek too.If it keeps guys healthy, I’ll take it. Sit them.

Yeah I spotted this a couple weeks back and it's pretty mad... a testament to how this season has been a case of winners vs losers in the eastern conference without much middle ground- lots of powerhouse teams winning games. It’s possible that this team could have a better record than the Presidents’ Trophy team.
82 GP 53-22-7 113 PTS
78 GP 51-22-6 108 PTS
Petty f***in’ crazy.
Not totally meaningless since we are tied for first but obviously the most important thing is being healthy. That game in Boston Saturday is pretty meaningless for us I doubt any f those guys even make the trip. Rangers will probably go in with the mindset of getting Kreider a couple goals and getting Panarin closer to 100 pts.

It’s true, the disparity is whacky this season.Yeah I spotted this a couple weeks back and it's pretty mad... a testament to how this season has been a case of winners vs losers in the eastern conference without much middle ground- lots of powerhouse teams winning games.
That’s true but the Penguins/Bruins/Capitals are all within 2 pts of each other, so finishing 1st might not be as substantial as other years. I guess it could payoff if they make a deep run.Not totally meaningless since we are tied for first but obviously the most important thing is being healthy.
Always with the bright side.To be fair 113 points is on the low end for a Presidents' Trophy winner. I believe since the lockout in a full season the fewest points by a Presidents' Trophy winner were Vancouver in 2011 with 111.
What? Your logic makes no sense. You think a player getting hurt means there is less than of a reason to rest guys? Who would I have say? I would have rested any one of Panarin, Zibanejad, Kreider, Fox, etc. who all have been playing big minutes. Panarin had a 4 point game, which is great. But what if he got hurt?Who would you have sat, tonight and when would you have started sitting guys?
If you said this before Kakko got hurt, kudos to you, else negative kudos for you.
Post Game Interviews. Adam (Yeah, obviously) Fox, Ryan Strome and Coach Gerard Gallant.
NHL Highlights Rangers at Long Island.
Always with the bright side.![]()
Not tonight, sorry. Maintenance day?I'm hoping to see Vally.
It works especially well with good finishing and bananas goaltending. We have become the kings of low event hockey.
I'm not mad at it.
Not tonight, sorry. Maintenance day?
It’s up; just no Valliquette. You think it'll be up tomorrow?
Performance review season at your place too, huh?Gallant is that boss that refuses to give you an exceeds on your performance review because you always meet his high expectations...
Me too. I don't think it's nothing.I am concerned about Copp, I really am.
The worst too is you’ll get “I’m not too concerned. I think he will be ready to go in ten days.” Sure.Me too. I don't think it's nothing.
Angel number"With 74 assists on the season, Panarin broke the Rangers’ record that was previously held by Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky for assists by a forward in a single season."
Nice!
