Yes. I'm saying Pickett is in the realm of QB that teams move on from. Like Trubisky was moved on from. Except Trubisky in Chicago was better than this.

And my point is that moving on from a guy of Pickett's caliber doesn't mean that you're going to get better, as evidence by the Bears completely imploding after replacing Trubisky with Fields.

The fact that the Bears took a major step back directly following the decision is a major thing to omit during that comparison.

Josh Yohe is on a heater tonight.

@JoshYohe_PGH Sorry. Kenny is great. Better than Marino. H2P.

Yes, we could do worse. But we could also get Jimmy G/Derek Carr/whoever and do the same.

Kenny will never be a top 15 NFL QB. Watching Stroud and now Levis completely outclass him confirms this.

They should have done this in the first place, use the draft to build up the OL and bring in someone like Carr to be the QB. This team refuses to rebuild so I'm not entirely sure why they thought bringing in a rookie QB who's a 2nd rounder in a normal year to replace Ben was going to work. Especially when the team had major issues offensively even while having Ben.

Pickett is just another guy on this level, but this team isn't a better QB away from doing...well, anything. Frankly I don't even know what you can do about this offense without just tearing it down, which they obviously won't do.

See. There it is. Let him line up in the backfield with KP under center and get his speed going.

I don't feel like it's a coincidence that this is the first game Jones is fully starting and the run game is actually working today.

That's a bad drop by Harris. Not sure that would have been much more than a 5-7 yard gain but you can't muff that easy pass.

sure, use a timeout on offense in the third quarter of a 1 score game. probably won't need thst later.

Kaboly: “No way Pickett is 100 percent. So many roll outs, quick throws -- passes where he doesn't have to stretch it out. I wonder if he has a yard count -- nothing more than 15 yards in air. Likely not.”

If that’s the case, why is he starting? Then again, if Kenny isn’t at full strength it’s hard to tell because he has usually sucked.

Complain about anyone you want with this offense but I'm just happy that this team can string together some actual drives offensively.

3 of their 5 drives today have gone for more than 50 yards, I'm just happy to see an offensive product that can actually generate some yards and points.
