Need to take a shot downfield to try to back the box off them. They've been successful at running somehow so far through it, but the pass rush is in Pickett's head. Try to get a pi call downfield.

That would require some creative offensive minds and a willingness to take risks, neither of which apply to the 2023 Steelers.

I just wish the Steelers would have a game where the debates didn't just turn into the same Pickett nonsense every week.

The Browns are having a free blitzer on basically every play, the Steelers OL is getting downright abused in this game. But at some point, Pickett just needs to make a play.

Please just fire Matt Canada. For the love of god, just get rid of him.
You don’t think firing Canada will easily fix things, do you? Agree he should be gone, but at this point, it’s too late. They are who they are. A team generally incapable of more than 1-2 offensive TD’s a game.

No, but I sure as hell know that Matt Canada is an atrocious OC that has no business even being employed by a NFL team.

Predetermined to throw it to Warren again. But you know, we don't get guys open.

It still blows my mind that Matt Canada has not only kept his job for 3 years despite these awful results, but that he was hired to be the OC in the first place. The dude wasn't even a good college OC, so why is he the OC of a NFL team?

If the play call is an immediate slant to Warren, how do those WRs being open mean anything?

The theory of that play-call is that the other receivers pull the defensive backs away from the line of scrimmage and it opens up a clear lane for Warren to run. Those receivers aren't intended targets for that play call, hence why the Browns were able to counter it so easily.

This we can agree on. He is however one of many issues with this offense, but as the leader of it, the intense criticism is understood. But who hired him? Just saying.

It wasn't. That was to Warren in the flat. Pickett doesn't bother to look anywhere else. But keep blaming it all on the coaches when the QB can't find open guys and does not even try.

Yes, that play call calls for an immediate throw to Warren in that spot.

Once again, the problem is that Canada has an ultra predictable offense so the defenders don't fall for such a bad play design.
