How am i back tracking the talk of trading him legally can’t even start until the regluar season is over. I never said it would be 100 percent guaranteed he gets traded. It would be up to tomlin and art to agree to a trade. Art my decide he wants tomlik to stick around but hire s brand new staff

I think the smoke out of the national media is indicating that Tomlin will ask out. It's all couched in "he's too good for the organization and George Pickens is a brat" while tiptoeing around the absolute mediocrity, unwillingness to hire any assistant with potential, not understanding offense, and his precious defense being a TJ Watt-only paper tiger for 4 years. But it is what it is. Here is hoping he goes.

I don’t know if he will ask out. I do think they will have a discussion if he can get Art to open the check book to build an actual staff. I am sure tv networks will talk to him about taking a year off like Peyton and do tv.

When Ben retired I have been saying since, that Tomlin would quit once he realizes he cannot run a football team without a hof quarterback. It's 100% going to happen and I think it'll be after this season barring the Steelers making the playoffs.

Cincy going to remove any and all doubt of your last statement.

Did Warren speak to the media again? Or is that a fuller version of the same media thing he did earlier?

Because if it's the latter and they omitted the bit about Pickens saying he'd blocked for him next time, wow, that's a damn look for a lot of people...

... not that I necessarily believe Pickens. But still.

*pause* I don't think I've ever seen a sports team that so obviously needed to just get to the end of the season and run away from it all for a little.

I hate that situation where they have a good guy in house and they make the wrong choice. Even though he’s been mediocre, I still think the Seumalo signing was the right move. But Daniels at RG is a disaster and Cole at C is a low point for this org since before Webster (ignoring Greens rookie year).

I feel like it’s also tied into the poor revolving door at OL coach since Munchak. They’re not developing players, guys get worse when they arrive and get better when they leave.

And speaking of Munchak is it a coincidence that this team has been a complete joke since he left?

People are acting like the Rams did some voodoo… they played a guy at his natural spot and low and behold, he excels.

That’s so KrAZy!

They literally moved up in the draft to grab a LT, then moved him to RT for… Dan Moore.

That’s all you need to know about this coaching staff and the dumb ass decisions they make.

Not familiar with this writer, but I’ll take any blurb of hope.

In the article she states:

Now, if you follow along every week, you are probably thinking, “You just told us two weeks ago that it’s not the Steelers’ style to move on! They are patient and cautious!” I will continue to share with you that based on my conversations, there still is a good chance Tomlin is the Steelers’ head coach in 2024.

So probably no hope because it’s the Rooneys.

Interesting that Washington has so many high draft picks in next years draft.

A deal could probably be made if this was a modern, fwd thinking org.

The only way a trade happens is if there is a mutual agreement. Tomlin honestly may not want to sink with this ship and if he can hop to an up-and-comer and make way more money, why wouldn't he?

He also knows if he leaves Pgh, his lifetime job is out the window and he’ll have to deal with the realities of NFL owners and their demands.

If things go poorly again tonight, does the crowd at Acrisure have the guts to start a "Fire Tomlin" chant, or is that only reserved for the OC and Trubisky?

That's what I'm thinking too. If we wanted to strike a deal with them, this draft would be a good one.

Why have his best bud in the media float the idea of him being traded to begin with then?

Either he's self-confident and ambitious and fancies his chances of another ring somewhere else -

Or he's feeling sufficient heat that he doesn't think this is a lifetime job

Time to discover what new and exciting brand of bad decisions they have for us today.

I love watching mediocre QB play.

Trubisky or Rudolph it's probably all the same.
