It would be so Tomlin to lose today, be basically eliminated, and then win three straight to end the season when it no longer matters.
it would be but this team/year feels different. I'll be surprised if they win a single game. not only poor coaching as always... but the players. its just a bunch of individual losers.

They gave up with that chicken**** call. Your defense sucks. Your punter sucks. Boswell is good and could’ve made that FG, however long it was.

This year feels exactly like the 1998 swoon after the Jerome Bettis coin toss game on Thanksgiving. Just an inevitable slide into oblivion.

Aside from one false hope playoff run in 2016, that slide started January 8, 2012.
The thing is that they often had the talent to win. But this staff consistently gets at best 80 percent out of whatever talent they have.

Can you think of many games where they had the lesser talent but outcoached the other team and won anyways?

I can't remember any.

I don’t need to think of any games because they don’t exist.

There is a reason Tomlin is 3-8 in his last 11 playoff games, and two of those wins were agt scrub backups.
