I don't see as much hesitancy to spend for needs as I do hesitancy to spend it on offensive ones, though admittedly this is due somewhat to recent draft investment. To me, he actually hasn't seemed all that overly concerned about overpaying for talent, as long as its on the side of the ball that is already the most invested in in the league.
Didn't seem to have much trouble backing up the truck for Queen in the offseason, who has so far proved Ravens fans who questioned Queen's contract for riding Smith's coattails last year for the most part right.
I worry more about how much the supposed talent on this team seems to underperform in the most important moments/games comparative to how much of the budget is spent on it, than I am the degree to which Khan and co. are willing to potentially overcommit to acquire said talent in the first place.
Whenever this team finally proves in an important game again the money they do spend isn't seemingly wasted, I'll worry about where they could afford to trim the fat off their salary structure.
