Fantastic, our only two coaches worth a damn - Grady Brown and Aaron Curry are gone.
Changes = let guys on expiring contracts go.

That is very true, however, doesn't change the fact he was the best player in that draft by a fair margin. He has the same problems that Pickens has, and to a lesser extent Jones has. Enough UGA guys have almost been a problem where I'd start to avoid them. Juice isn't worth the squeeze.Jalen Carter? He’s lucky he didn’t up in prison.
And new players on the roster thanks to free agency and the draftChanges = let guys on expiring contracts go.

Curry not surprised they have shazier to take over on staff. Brown none of the dbs developed under BrownFantastic, our only two coaches worth a damn - Grady Brown and Aaron Curry are gone.
Sadly, that is the recipe to win in today's college football. Urban Meyer's teams always had problem players. Christ, he had players who murdered people. But, those players lead to wins.Zero accountability in the UGA program.
I can see a case for ARod. He might create a big enough mess to create change.
Raise your hand if you are surprised that he won 3.

I kinda like this angle. Rodgers could bottom us out like Russ or Fields never could
Rodgers could create such turmoil it would be entertaining to watch.
I just wanna sign fields and roll with it, tbh.
And the OL hasn't developed under Meyer yet here we are. You really don't have to defend EVERYTHING that Tomlin does. Your fealty is noted by all. HIs refusal to hire quality assistants is no longer a secret.Curry not surprised they have shazier to take over on staff. Brown none of the dbs developed under Brown
Nothing to defend if Tomlin couldn’t fire Canada Art wasn’t going to fire MeyerAnd the OL hasn't developed under Meyer yet here we are. You really don't have to defend EVERYTHING that Tomlin does. Your fealty is noted by all. HIs refusal to hire quality assistants is no longer a secret.
It's evident, honestly. And I think this is where these big programs are going to start to fall. They just let these guys do whatever they want so they stay there and play football, but they turn out horrible professionals. Going to college is about getting to the pros - if you're a f***-up of a kid and you don't want to get yourself straight, go to UGA.Zero accountability in the UGA program.

With Army and Navy being successful this year, I almost want the service to make it more beneficial for better players be willing to go to service academies again. I'm just so tired of seeing the same teams every year.
I think if we take Kyle McCord I'll be very, very happy. I didn't watch a ton of Syracuse, but he is a supremely talented individual. If he ran a 4.6 he'd be in a top 10 discussion, I think. If he's there in the 4th round, I absolutely take him. 3rd round, I very seriously consider. Underrated prospect.
I’ve never been a fan of booing players or coaches.
However, Tomlin is now reaching playoff failures that have become historic - and I’m no longer talking Steelers history, I mean NFL history.
- He’s literally one more one and done playoff loss from having the all-time mark and being tied with Marty at 9.
This is the one that really blows me away.
That’s one of those Gretzky like records I never thought any coach would ever be bad enough to sniff when MS achieved it.
- Tomlin is also now in the top ten ALL TIME for playoff losses in NFL history.
- He’s also moved into the top three for longest streaks (with one team) in NFL history without a playoff win.
- He’s an astonishing 3-10 in his last 13 playoff games - 3-10!
AR2 and the Tomlin nut huggers have completely lost all sense of reality and are in complete denial about what’s happening here.
Second that. Dude wanted a guarantee to be QB1 and then ran. Thank god too - and yes it worked for both parties. He thew the ball 50+ times a game no wonder he shattered records against inferior competition. Kid can't move. And I don't see any of the intangibles with him.I can’t with McCord man lol. He improved a bit but that has to do with the quality of competition drop off from the Big Ten to ACC. McCord has an awful tendency of throwing off his back leg way too much. And this year he threw three pick 6 sixes (5 total picks) against Pitt of all teams. @ColePens would agree with me.
This years crop of qb’s is just truly awful as a whole.
Arod and Pickens on the same team? Imagine how toxic that could be.
Let’s do it
Stafford would probably be 1A for me if he became available and the price wasn't insane. That's if we're picking the "try and compete again" lane. Although if the Rams decide to part ways with him, that would give me some caution as I trust McVay and co. have a good read on how much he has left in the tank. I've seen some rumors about a Stafford+Kupp trade package but I don't know how feasible that is.
1B is sign Fields if Stafford isn't interested or made available by the Rams.
Not totally opposed to Rodgers, I actually think you could make the argument that him being another year removed from the achilles injury has him more comfortable with his own body/limitations and would be in line for a rebound. I'm just not betting on it.
I'm cool with taking a dice roll on McCord on day 3 even if we sign one of the aforementioned veteran QB's. We need to be taking multiple swings at the position.
Ik outside of Columbus the Buckeyes were getting shit on for being religious but it worked out for them in the end.

At first I was going to say there's no way the Rams are actually going to move on from Stafford. They have a solid team that was a win away from the Super Bowl and they aren't going to find a better QB. But if they do get rid of him, it's a "let's suck in 2025 and then let McVay pick his QB in the draft in 2026" type of move. Pretty smart if you ask me, so Stafford-Kupp to Pittsburgh, confirmed.Stafford would probably be 1A for me if he became available and the price wasn't insane.
