I was referring more to the decision to stay in school another year, not necessarily leaving Georgia I guess. I wonder if he could've his lost his spot on the depth chart with the injury?

Quite possible they've already got their succession plan in place and have told him they don't want to lose out on it, so off he trots.

I was wondering if teams would start doing this, especially now with so much money invested. I was curious if Texas would kind of *wink wink nudge nudge* Ewers and tell him to get lost. I legit do think Arch sticks at Texas 4 years though.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out in 27, especially if the team with the 2026 1st overall pick is viewed as dysfunctional. 2026 still looks like there's some good QB depth but it's way, way, too early for that kind of talk. Classes 2+ years out always look good on paper when there are no injuries, do not declares, or poor senior seasons.

That was a good run for Penn State but I don’t know if they’re ever gonna have an easier path to the championship than they had this year.

Allar also just isn’t that good I don’t think. The idea of him is a lot better than what he actually is.

This certainly wasn't a good performance and the INT was absolutely devastating, but I wouldn't write him off just yet. Notre Dame's defense is probably #1 in the country. Still needs some development though.
