The giants have more weapons than us. Why would Jacksonville want him they have Thomas and paid Davis and kirk.If the Steelers trade Pickens, I don't think he's going to end up on a good team for two reasons
1) He's a massive headache in a contract year with a tendency to make big on field mistakes. Massive talent or no, that's deeply unattractive
2) I suspect that if he's got a choice, Khan will Carolina Pickens.
My guess is he ends up somewhere with an off-field staff under serious pressure with a QB with few weapons. Jacksonville or the Giants sound very likely to me.
I have noticed on the aerial shots I've seen, Austin does in fact get open. He'd be a Pro Bowler with Ben. Ben would pump and Austin would be 30 yards down field all alone. They already have Coleman and Shakar. They like spreading the ball around. They moved off Diggs because Allen had to force it to Diggs
Austin gets open but RW doesn’t throw it to his 2nd read
Who wins a playoff series first?
Penguins, Steelers or Pirates?
The fact that you hesitated even a fraction of a moment in answering speaks volumes.
Yeah, but I had to think about it for a split second.Nah it's definitely the Steelers. The Steelers can squeak into the playoffs and maybe eek out a win. The Penguins are toast and the Pirates will never win anything with their current owners.
It might even be because Harbaugh over thinks this Saturday.Yeah, but I had to think about it for a split second.
We are assuming that Tomlin will actually win a playoff series eventually though.

what does it say when I'm still thinking.Who wins a playoff series first?

This is instructive how? None of those teams are closer to a playoff win than the Steelers.Allegheny Andy
@CityOf_6
Only 7 NFL teams have 0 playoff wins since 2016. Of those teams:
✦ Steelers - 0 HC changes
✦ Panthers - 4 HC changes
✦ Dolphins - 3 HC changes
✦ Bears - 3 HC changes
✦ Commanders - 4 HC changes
✦ Cardinals - 4 HC changes
✦ Raiders - 4 HC changes
It was a similar gameplan they used against the bengals the 1st time the with built off plays because Smith anticipated the lb would jump on the najee jump offs
The Mike Tomlin philosophy in one tweet. Hey, maybe when it becomes 1956 again we'll be f'ing awesome. Until then...
If this is true, I think it would explain a lot of the bubbling frustrations and weird slips and glum looks we're seeing.
There is a cancer in this locker room. I think it is who we all think it is, but this thing turned around in a quick hurry in a bad way. We knew these games were going to be tough, but this has been atrocious ball.
I'd hope they could get more than a 3rd and if not, I'd hope he goes to the NFC. He's a headcase that will inevitably cause problems, but a team might be able to manage it for a while. If I'm the Bills I send the Steelers a 3rd to 5th round pick. Still on his rookie deal. Buffalo also has 2 second round picks this year so they can absorb this.
He'd make sweet magic with Josh Allen.
I think the results indicate that it was quite bad. You don't run the ball well, you're playing a defense you just torched a few weeks ago and which has been terrible all year, and you decide to go run heavy for 3 quarters despite the fact it's not working? Yes, the roster is limited and the weapons are few but I truly don't see how anyone watches the schemes and game plans and nods along "yes, that's smart, good coaching." I just don't.I don't think it is necessarily bad, he recognizes that his talent offensively is poor so they aim for the offense to not lose the game. They approached it much differently when they had Antonio Brown and Bell and a solid line.
I certainly have issues with the coaching, especially with the defense recently but people don't want to admit that the Steelers' roster just isn't that good and they won't be a true competitor until it improves.
