3/4 of those QBs are definitively better than Goff.

Baker Tanahill sounds awesome.

But to your point...For T1K - there should be a condition that it doesn't count if Goff is still in Detroit but they pick a 1st round QB.

Lol you’re really changing the argument drastically. I never said he was Detroit’s QB of the future. Just good enough to be a starter in the NFL. It’s a fake internet bet, why is that condition needed?

If he is intended as a caretaker that isn't a starter. Would you call Andy Dalton a starter right now? Or more specifically, would Jared Goff being in Andy Dalton's position right now somehow prove your point about how good he is?

An opening day starter is an opening day starter. If he was so awful like you claim, he wouldn’t be put in a “caretaker” role.

Also, let’s not forget, I’m just saying he’s better than Rudolph and good enough to be one of the 32 starting QBs in the league. Don’t make it seem as if I’m some big Goff Stan.

Not really. Guys in the 35-45th best QB tier get put into caretaker roles all the time.

Back atcha. If Rudolph is the Steelers opening day starter does that mean he's good enough to be a starter?

Honestly this is tiresome. You are welcome to the last word but "Jared Goff is a hill no one should die on." You can root for him. Just keep my name outcha mouf next time he starts lighting it up in the 55th minute down 24 facing prevent. Or at least wait to troll me until he wins something.

Idk what we’re even talking about at this point. “If Rudolph is the starter, is he good enough to be the starter?” YES. If a NFL team comes to that decision, I trust they know more than me. I’m just a commenter on a hockey forum talking about football. To act like I know better than a NFL franchise would be delusional.

Neither of us know what we're saying anymore. Let's agree that this Berkeley Boi who does not and will not play for team ain't worth it.

The Raiders remind me a lot of the Steelers…good defense and just the most inconsistent offense on the planet with an inaccurate QB and a putrid Oline…at least Carr tries to push the ball down the field even though he’s wildly inaccurate

So if the Steelers plan on starting Mason while waiting and letting the draft pick learn he is a starter.

They aren’t good on defense they literally took advantage of Villanueva but Lamar had guys open all over in the secondary. They play cover 3 and cover 2 DJ and Juju bought to eat that coverage

That Raiders game was crazy. I didn’t expect LV to win. I didn’t bet on it, glad because I definitely would’ve taken Baltimore.

It's official... I refuse to listen to any broadcast (with the exception of a few people) I'm absolutely fed up with the preaching and the rest of it.

It's bad.... not sure how people can listen to it. Is there a 'sounds of the game' option to listen to? Rather than the blathering dumb f*** or mute choice? I mean... come on I've seen it(the option) on European futbol games.

It was tried many years ago, and I (and probably a lot of other fans liked it), but I think the announcers collectively got the message out it was bad and I don't think it's been tried since.

I used to be able to switch the the SAP version which didn't exist where I lived and I would get the game sounds with no announcers. It was awesome but it no longer works.

Oh, and I think Goff and Stafford are a lot closer as QBs than seems to be the commonly accepted point of view. I've never been as big of a fan of Stafford as everyone else seems to be.
