It is a home game agt the Titans and ya they will be embarrassed again like Cincy. This is a game they shouldn’t lose so, you know how that goes.

Titans are a well coached team though - we’ll see.

If Henry was healthy I’d say no way - he would legit threaten to get 300 yard agt Tomlin’s D.

Cleveland is a home Monday night game, so that’s basically an auto win. Think their last loss was Neil O’D first start or something when I was a kid.

I have no idea how anyone can ever say that given our significant level of mediocrity on display.

Claypool has absolutely zero situational awareness. He displayed his priorities right there with this stunt.

It was Ben who kept us in the game. Claypool is too busy worrying about his own stats.

Steelers have had some bad teams over the last 28 or so years and always find ways to win at home on Monday night.

Just some weird freak shit.

It’s also the Browns and Steelers already beat them this season.

It's the same crap with this team under Tomlin for years now. Awful coaching and undisciplined actions are a trademark now.

Steelers haven’t lost at home on MNF in like 30 years and the refs made sure it stayed that way last time. Prolly will this time too.

Greenberg calling it like it is.

But it's probably got nothing to do with Tomlin because if you haven't heard, he's never had a losing season before.

Tomlin did bench him for a few drives supposedly.

However, he’s created this culture, but since Tomlin is never held accountable either, it’s fitting.

The long time enabler can’t be the one who fixes this culture.

how did that playoff game go again?

they didn't beat Detroit, so nothing is assured.

I wonder whose job he thinks that it is to keep players in line. And whether given those comments Roethlisberger thinks that person is failing at it.

As an aside, in the article they added up the time lost by Claypool posing.

14 seconds of game clock.

Enough for two plays.

How did the last game go? I recall lots of Browns going Browns bumbling.

Tomlin’s Steelers lose in the playoffs to basically everyone, but always win MNF games at home.

Everyone beats Tomlin’s Steelers in the playoffs, it’s not some heroic feat the Browns pulled off.

this one is even funnier than the last one I think….

Yeah it’s interesting since when he got his most recent extension after the Jacksonville playoff loss Colbert told everyone he was the unquestioned leader of the locker room and he had no problem going on his radio show throwing AB under the bus.
The lb for the Vikings should’ve been penalized for delay of game since he knocked the ball out of Claypool hands

I have never seen Roethlisberger so pissed as last night.

Justifiably so.

His center, not for the first time this year, sucked. He couldn't even do simple tasks like hike the ball before taking a delay of game or getting the ball into Roethlisberger's hands without it being an adventure. The line sucked and could not block a two year old in diapers.

And the team was undisciplined. Again.

Coaching was a joke.

The defense was a joke and had him way behind having to be a hero 18 seasons in.

To blame Roethlisberger for being pissed is way off base. Blame him if he were not pissed.

maybe claypool can arrive at camp next year in a hot air balloon.

Back when Ben wanted to comeback and make sure he got his money he said he there would be growing pains and he knew the o line would be a work in progress. Now that he knows there’s no money for him next season he doesn’t care. Did the o line complain when he missed the hot reads on the safety blitzes last night.

Mistakes are one thing.

Last night was simply unprofessional beer league stuff.

And I am not just talking about Claypool.

Huge difference.

Yeah it’s definitely Ben’s fault for not telling Claypool to have situational awareness. That’s definitely Ben’s job is to teach a receiver basic awareness. 100% spot on

I know we like to pile on Kendrick Green, but let's not forget, the organization drafted him when HE HAD ONLY PLAYED 3 GAMES AS A CENTER IN COLLEGE.

The unfortunate thing is that Creed Humphrey has been so good. A vast majority of our issues would be solved right now, but we wouldn't have Freiermuth who I think has potential to be a top 5 TE in this league and we needed that desperately also.

I also say, Ben these last 2 games doesn't look like toast to me. This offensive scheme is a complete f***ing joke, and it needs to be scrapped and they need to bring back an offense that isn't as gimmicky, but even that throw to Freiermuth to end the game - Ben f***in hummed that ball in there. He made quite a few throws like that the last couple of games. I think a different offense would extend Ben a bit. Canada's offense is legitimately one of the worst things I've seen in all of my years of watching football.

I love how Minnesota ran trap runs with Cook. I'd love to see us do that with Najee and Watt. Imagine Najee able to get a head of steam before getting touched. It'd be marvelous.

I said during the aracens game that Najee gets any yards at all shows what a wizard he is. Because the scheme is doing him no favors.

He has some 3 yard runs that are incredible because there is no possible way he should have anything other than a 5 yard loss.

I really wish we ran more pro-sets. Give Najee a little help. Get Watt on the field more.

I think Ben is pretty much done with the shitty coaching around him - from the “wtf” gesture to the bench a few weeks ago to alluding to Tomlin’s culture issues, then mouthing “4” (sacks) to Tomlin coming off the field - he’s probably regretting coming back.

I thought the offense would make him a game manager and the line would gel by this part of the season - but I forgot to account for inept coaching ironically enough.

Ben gets mad being called a game manager.

Ben gets mad at shitty coaching and a head coach who has zero accountability because of his lifetime job.

What other NFL coach would be dumb enough to say this when asked if he and the coaches had any responsibility for the poor O-Line:

When Tomlin was asked after this game if, in addition to the players' culpability in the line play, the coaches might also face accountability, he initially reacted as if he'd seen a ghost, then replied, "What do you mean? A coach hasn't made a play, sustained a block, made a tackle. I know I hadn't in a long time."

Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, Pirates News, Live Coverage | DK Pittsburgh Sports

“Wha! What do you mean I’m accountable here! How dare you!”

That’s mind numbing and the exact problem with this cancer making this org so sickly.

Zero accountability in this org because the arrogant coach knows he will never be held responsible for anything.

With the record in the last 10 yrs, embarrassingly low Nbr of playoff Ws, historic humiliating losses and so on, is there another team in the NFL that would still keep Tomlin?

So Ben gets mad at shitty coaching but fought really hard to come back this season. Ben could have retired with Pouncey or asked for his release. Ben knew who Tomlin was he knew the o line was going to have new starters he knew who is wr were going to be. He knew who Matt Canada was since he was the QB coach last season

Sean Peyton and Pete carrol are still employed. Ben has 3 combined tds and our last 3 playoff wins he has more interceptions than td in the last 10 playoff years

I only saw Roethlisberger lose it that last game against the Vikings. And rightfully so.

If you are a hall of fame professional the beer league garbage going on, not to mention that the line being beer league quality and was getting him killed, then you are going to lose it.

His damn center couldn't even hike the ball properly making him jump and play center-field almost every down. And that was just a start. Blown blocking assignments and on and on.

And that was just the line.

Roethlisberger reacted exactly as he should have.

I’m not a big fan of his, but I caught a clip where Cowherd said Roth had to overcome the org agt the Vikings.

People are starting to get it the more they lose and frauds can’t hide behind their words anymore.

The Ben Blamers are in for a rude awaking soon.

The guy is performing at an above average level at 39 after years of abuse. We are most definitely in for a rude awakening unless something crazy happens in the off-season.

So should his teamates yell and scream when he is throwing interceptions. Should his wr get mad when he under throws them. He is the highest paid player on the team he is the unquestioned leader of the team. He knew what he signed up for when he came back this season
