Even though Fields had an INT today (poor decision to force it to CPatt, somewhat flukey INT given the ball bounced like 4 times), I'm still wildly impressed with the decision making and accuracy.

2 sacks per game would be a career low for him and he's on like a 5 INT pace (over 17 games)

Yeah and honestly that interception hits the ground 95% of the time. Was a bad pass that Fields got really unlucky on to get picked.

Even beyond that, I feel like Fields hasn't even really been close to an interception outside of that one. The Steelers defense seems to have like 2-4 interceptions or close to interceptions a game, while I don't even recall Fields having one outside of his actual interception.

I'm not meaning to talk trash about Pickett here, because I definitely think he'd look better on this team right now than he did last year. But it's still funny to me that Fields is younger than Pickett and they got more for trading Pickett than what their paid for Fields.

Last year I was telling anyone who would listen they were complete frauds. This year I think they actually can compete. The line is coming together and guys can step in when there are injuries. This defense is elite. Najee is feeling it.

We suffered some significant injuries today, namely Highsmith and Warren…hopefully they’re not out long…our RB and OLB depth is pretty bad

The Cowboys' defense is absolutely abhorrent.

It's hard not to be excited about Fields' development. Even in my most optimistic ideas, and I was one who favored him playing over Wilson, I thought success would be more in the way Anthony Richardson is playing in Indy than what he's done. The WR room really needs bolstered and you have to hope the return of Seumalu and more experience for Frazier and Jones solidifies the line a bit, but putting solid QB play with this defense is pretty damn sweet.

The way the pass rush took over the game in the 2nd half was beautiful. Herbig is a far superior pass rusher to Highsmith, but time will tell if he can hold up against the run if he has to play first-team snaps, which I suspect he will.

I haven’t felt this good after a win in a very long time
Agreed!! It's also incredible that there is a strong chance that they have found their franchise QB for a 4th round pick........AMAZING!!

Austin is a player... that dude can be a player when used correctly and we still have the Roman option coming.

Very HAPPY

Without OUR pacific Islanders we held our own. Seumualo should be back soon. Roman Wilson should also be back soon.

The Ravens are trying their hardest to blow another 4th quarter lead.
They need to do better than that!

I need to see Austin do it for more than one game a season though. But he had a good game. VJ needs the bench. Let's get Roan into the line up.

Justin Fields has looked great in the early going. The offense is still a struggle at times. 1 WR and 1 TE, though Austin had a strong game today. Uncertain in the OL.

The pass rush is a menace, with Benton taking a step forward and Herbig playing more often.

That pass to Scotty Miller that Miller ran off with was pretty close. But that's it. No dangerous passes in the first two games.

We are 3-0 and people are still complaining about Tomlin? Lol. I have criticized him in the past, but he's won me over these last couple years. The guy has done a great job at squeezing the maximum amount of wins with some abysmal QB play. Yes, I know he hasn't won a playoff game in a long time, but overall he is a top 5 coach in the league, imo.

Even after a great game, he's taking accountability for mistakes and saying he needs to improve on them. Absolutely love to see this mentality, especially after the Ben years.
