I don’t think they draft a wr high if they trade for a wr. They might draft a te

If they trade for a WR with term then, yeah, you don't draft a guy high. But I'm thinking they end up with a guy who is either cuttable or is on an expiring contract. Someone better than Scotty Miller for better depth.

Okay, Giants, raise the white flag and give us Slayton, or Denver will stop pretending they have a shot and send us Sutton.

Drafting a WR is not guaranteed to be successful. Just look at Wilson.

The AFC is wide open. Cue ball needs to stop ******* up and finally get some help at WR. He struck out with Aiyuk, screwed up drafting Wilson. There are plenty of WRs still out there.

Cue ball cant get caught with his pants around his ankles…again.

I still worry about Howard (aka McCord 2.0). He's not that good and the fumble/pick 6 were sooooo badly telegraphed. I don't see the hype in him and we are going to need a Cardale Jones moment if he's going to take us anywhere.

He’s still miles better than McCord. You’ve got a weird infatuation about that comparison, probably bc he’s not as fashionable as you are lmfao. Yeah the pick was bad but the fumble was an incredible play by the DB to knock it out there. And kudos to the O line for how well they played as a unit.

I did laugh when Klatt would say that the LT probably got away with a hold on Carter often and how they were just letting them play. Mike Perria had a rough day as the rules analysis and the refs chose to let them play sometimes

I don't want to go all in on simply intangibles but dude has some swag. McCord is the antithesis of the guy you want in a key situation. And in general, he was a statue and alone couldn't have done the two qb runs that won the game. The pick 6 was yikes - and he is basically a lock for one absolute head scratching play per game for whatever reason. They ran so many similar, quick pass plays this season early in games I was waiting for an actual team to read one of them. And that was worst case scenario. Anyways, I am so so more confident in Howard. Don't forget he balled out against Oregon.

I want the “rules analyst” gone from every broadcast for every sport. It adds nothing and the announcers deferring to them is f***ing annoying.

If McCord played on Saturday and not Howard they lose that game.

If they actually did what they are supposed to do, it would be fine. But too often they are there as preemptive damage control to say "Oh geez, I don't know. That one could really go either way."

Perria was exceptionally brutal during the PSU-OSU game, though. During the reversed fumble call, they brought him in and he said, "Well, what is a catch?" Motherf***er, YOU'RE the rules expert. You should be telling US what the rule is.

I can’t remember his name but the one on CBS annoys the piss out of me

I would love Slayton; I've never been impressed with Sutton.

I agree that I would rather acquire Slayton. They are kind of the better options at this point. Cue ball has waited too long.

I am afraid Austin fooled Tomlin and cue ball into thinking he is a WR2.

I disagree with this. I believe they take a WR within the first 3 rounds
If they trade say a 5th for Slayton extend him for 10 million they aren’t drafting a wr. They will have Gp Slayton Ca3 and Wilson under contract.
I still think they trade for Lockett whose under contract for next season
Your looking at DL QB Olb/cb as the 3 biggest draft needs

The Giants have to decide whether they want to pay him or trade him.

My post presumed they don't get a WR via trade. They absolutely draft 1 if that's the case

My money is still on Mike Williams. As long as he's cheap enough, they can make a decision on him after they see him here if they want to keep him or if they want to use a high pick on a WR. Could bounce back in a new offense.

I'd be stoked with Slayton (for this year), too, but expect he'd be more expensive in terms of the pick to get him. For a potential rental, I don't love that idea.

Jakobi Meyers is a name I've seen in here anyway a couple times. I have to say I've been non-plussed by him in general but a look at his game to game indicates he's been productive. He is now my desired trade target.

More Adidas sneakers than a plumber's got pliers
Got more suits than Jacoby & Meyers
If not for my vices, and my bugged out desires
My year would be good, just like Goodyear's tires
