Their best option for the playoffs is just to rest every starter on D they can next week…I think a lot of Tomlin’s fading at the end of the season is because he works the D players really hard in training camp and by this time it’s over…that and good coaches have him figured out…rest everyone you can and try to come up with schemes for the playoffs that work against tendencies…but he’s clueless so it will just be the same old same old lol

I mean I've read articles that Reid runs his players harder than any other coach in the league in pre-season. I don't think it's fatigue.

I think it just comes down to secondary talent - rarely enough - and scheme - rarely does what you want against a general type QB. He doesn't play enough of the latter for that to be exposed, the team has too many holes to focus solely on the secondary.

Although if we want to talk fatigue, I think the record on a short week post-Ravens is awful and that's not really a surprise.
