Eventually a team is just gonna have to put its foot down on these contract demands from QBs. I get it’s the most important position and all but so many of these teams hamstring themselves by paying non elite guys elite money.

Teams are afraid of getting on the QB carousel though.

With reason. How many coaches/GMs survive getting on the QB carousel? Tomlin has done it but leaving aside that he's going to the Hall of Fame, I don't think he's doing it without TJ Watt. How many others have done it? Hell, does Tomlin survive his second visit when Wilson is done?

The situation is ridiculous. But there's 20 guys who you "know" aren't going to get people fired in a 32 team league and the money being given out to them isn't why the rest of the team might get people fired. You going to tell, say, Tua that he can't have 55m from you and he'll have to get it from someone else so you can go back on the carousel and hope you can spend the money you saved on difference makers which you probably can't because push comes to shove there's not enough of those available either?

And that’s the crux of the issue. Steelers have way too much loyalty but other teams could probably benefit from not moving on from their personnel departments every 3 years. It pushes people into making decisions to save their asses instead of what might be best for the team long term.

Did you mean to say not moving on there?

Offense on 3 yard line lol…wanna bet the first two downs are runs to Najee, with third and long being an out of bounds throw….because we don’t live in our fears…

Put money down on the Ravens to cover…they’ll win by a TD or more…don’t think it’ll be as close as the games usually are with the Steelers key injuries…bad day in Pittsburgh sports…the Penguins against the NJD is a bad matchup loI ….do think the Steelers will bounce back and claim the division with wins against Chiefs and Bengals at home however….hoping I’m right on that
That's free money. Henry is gashing the Steelers and wearing gold cleats to add insult to injury. He might go for 200+ today. This puppy's all but over.
