I dunno.

Canada unneccessarily runs some silliness to get a sneak we would have gotten anyway. Then Pickett scrambles to his weak side for no reason forcing the hold. Then a bad throw/decision.

Just not good by MC or KP.

People wanted KP to play, but don’t want to live with his mistakes.

Not how it works.
I wouldn’t even call that a rookie mistake. You don’t try that throw at any level. He should know better and I’m guessing he just really wanted to score so he got too ballsy.

Agreed. Matt Canada is likely the worst offensive coordinator in the league, but it wasn’t his fault Pickett threw that atrocious pick.

Yeah I think that was really just him wanting to be the hero, while he should have just eaten it (or gone for a shorter gain) to just get within a FG.

You hope he gains that knowledge as he plays more. Trust your defense to be able to give you another chance and just take the points available, instead of making a risky play that can make you lose out on all points.

Defense are heroes regardless of how this ends.

I haven't totally followed him but at first glance this is Devin Bush's best game in forever.

That's a Favre-like risk throw, but Kenny doesn't have Favre's arm.

We can debate that all day, but he’s going to make even dumber plays this season so it is what it is.

That’s why he needs to play so they have a good idea of who he is.

People just need to relax and let the process play out.
