It would be incredible if a reporter (or a fan) were to ask DeBoer his rationale towards lineup decisions and he actually gave an honest reply. Particularly what he thinks in respect to the younger guys pretty much guaranteed to be scratched the following game if they make a mistake or have a bad night and what that does to their psyche while the veteran guys get free reign out there?
I actually like DeBoer and his style of play that's implemented (although people still think and say the Devils "clog" up the neutral zone
) but I'm tired of the coaching carousel with the Devils and think they just need to ride this out. But even though it is only five games in to the season, it is getting close to panic mode and this blowing the lead issue will have to be fixed asap.
