The perils of being a fan of a multiple Cup-winning team.

When you return it, I'll wait for it to drop in price and buy it on Amazon Warehouse Deals. TIA! That is where I got my other one for $9 last Spring.

Return it? Nah, I just kept it for the office, the other one's at home.

Latest multi-cup problem: now I need TWO 2014 versions to complete each set......

I once ordered a 1989 Calgary Flames Stanley Cup champions hat and got an '04 one. :sarcasm:

Holy ****! This is you isn't it!??!?

Ordered a replica Kings 2014 Stanley Cup from Amazon. Just got it today. It's the 2012 version. Oh, the problems that occur when your team wins numerous Cups.

:sarcasm:

Here's a funny thing, I ordered a 2014 and 2012 from Amazon. The 2014 arrived yesterday and the 2012 arrived today. They're BOTH 2014, one with this year's design, one with the 2012 design, but stamped 2014. The "2012" Cup has the curved medallion, while the 2014 has the protruding flat medallion. How the heck that happened, I have no idea.

I got the same thing on the right for 2014 as well. And my 2012 one looks like the one on the left.

They probably have two separate plants in China producing them.

Probably so. Now I'm debating on whether I return the supposed 2012 and hope they send me back an actual 2012 or keep it and try and get a legit third Cup because you can never have enough Stanley Cups. :handclap:

My god, the horror!

Imagine the nightmares we'll be exposed to should they win again.

Our situation is the opposite of yours. We paid for ours upfront and waited an indefinite amount of time. And we've only won two in three years, not five or whatever. You guys are just greedy is all.

The oilers were the benfactor of two teams merging into one. That's the only wya they got Gretzky to begin with.
They will be good once again and I am sure the Kings will be bad once again but for now I am enjoyng this ride.

after the 2012 cup I purchased a plague with a pice of the net in it .I went to order the same thing for the 2014 win and they do not ship to Canada!!
I used nhl.com but they said it doesn't ship here as they use a 3rd party distributor. What a bunch of ****.

NHL.com is a ****ing joke. It took almost two months and more than a few phone calls to get a plaque shipped to me. But they charged my card right away, so I gave them hell for it and told them they probably violated their merchant contract (MY merchant contract back in the day forbid me to charge credit cards until the item was actually shipped, and its standard language, so...).

Ship it to a friend in the USA and have him reship it to you. That's the only solution I can think of.

Kind of a side note but if you want game used stuff like netting, you should just buy Upper Deck hockey cards that have net in them.

I already used my money elsewhere but ya NHL needs to up it's game. Everytime I order anythign from there I swear it will be the last time, and then I realize that I am a canadian cheering for a non-canadian team or orginal six team so I have very few options of places to purchase from and cave.

Try the link below.

It's the Kings "Team LA" store, I don't think they are affiliated with NHL.com, but they may be. I linked up their Kings memorabilia page for you; you can also go up the web tree for some clothes if that is what you are looking for.

I was hopeful that Kings would have a "replica cup giveaway night" this season. It doesn't look like it tho....but there's a replica ring night
