Nothing in stone.

NE plays a Buffalo team who is locked in at 2 spot so resting whoever they can. Last chance for Pats players to put on good film to get a contract somewhere in the nfl.

Titans get Texans who are locked into 4 seed. Likely see them rest guys too. Despite the struggles on offense.

Browns get a Ravens team that needs to win to secure the north and 3 seed to host a WC game. Otherwise if Steelers win and they lose Pitt wins the north and Ravens drop to 6 seed to play Pitt again on the road.

Giants get eagles who like bills are locked into 2 seed. QB1/2 are out so QB3 starting. Would expect eagles to rest who they can.

Just never know about these games. If the Pats do beat Buffalo, figure the teams that would end up at 1/2 likely have to go QB. Be hard to be Ten, Cle, NYG and not bring in someone new. At worst need to trade down.
And Patriots fan so I’m like go right ahead. The magic spot seems to be two or three.

How the f*** do you not call timeout with 18 seconds left??!!

Being a sports fan is seriously difficult this fall/winter (just about my entire life, really).

Which game are you referring to?
Falcons. Was moving down the field and was just outside the FG range with 18 seconds left and our shitty coach thought he'd just rush to the line instead of using one of the two timeouts we had. Gave away 2 plays/opportunities.

Which game are you referring to?
pretty sure the falcons game last night. they were trying to set up for the game winning field goal and had a big strike down the field into Washington territory. atlanta had 2 timeouts and didn't use 1 after the big completion. Burned a lot of valuable seconds off the clock trying to get everybody to the line on the next play and the play was hurried and resulted in an incompletion.

Dunno if anyone is watching the Texas vs Arizona St. game but apparently the NHL isn't the only ones into game management. Just saw a clear targeting call get dropped and the only reason I can think it was dropped by replay is because of where it was at the point in the game.

Ultimately the Refs may end up determining this game due to a non-call.

Arizona St stone cold choked. 4th and 17, one more stop and you win? And give up not one but two TDs on consecutive plays, after the football gods had lifted you two missed FGs

Just feel awful for ASU players and fans

Well and not only that but if the Refs call that penalty then they have the ball 1st and 10 and a chance to end it in regulation.

If a team is going to suck then they might as well be the best at it.

Too bad the qbs aren’t good in this draft.
If they think there is still hope for Levis they should trade the pick for a huge haul and fill multiple holes.

Otherwise, bring the Prime Time Show to Music City

I’d prefer Cam Ward if they stick with the pick and go qb. But to your point I’d much rather just trade down and fill other holes even if they don’t believe in Levis. There are plenty of holes to fill with more obvious routes to success in this draft. I just have this feeling whoever picks a top qb this year is going to be qb hunting again 3-5 years from now.

They need to look at trading back. That would be my choice. However, if they think either Sanders or Ward is the answer at QB, you have to trust your gut.

The last 10 QBs drafted 1st overall are as follows: Bryce Young, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield, Jared Goff, Jameis Winston, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, and Sam Bradford.

History is the best indicator of the future in sports.

Other clubs will be doing the same evaluations. Don’t think either is worth giving up a future 1 for.
