I saw a graphic from The Athletic that showed the % of each fanbase that was optimistic about the upcoming season. For our division:

1. Texans - 96%
2. Jags - 89%
3. Colts - 70%
4. Titans - 69%

What's in the water down in Houston?

Stroud, Collins and Dell are studs and they brought in some great players to surround them,
They should win the division.

Titans gonna Titan. Only they could figure out how to give up 24 unanswered points and the defense only give up 9 of them.
HC inherited Levis, so he doesn't have a long leash. Ridder was a starter for ATL last season and was traded to AZ and cut and didn't make their roster. Yes, he was a mid round pick, but when you get your opportunity, have to make the most of it. Can't be making the type of bonehead play he did today.

How bout them Vols, though? Poor Kent State, at least they got $1.35 million for...that. While NC State was a good opponent, next week against Oklahoma should be a really good look to see what we have.

Levis just doesn't have the IQ. That's stupid even in highschool and college.
I had Wentz as his comp. Physical tools are there, but they don't have the "live to play another down" mentality. Take the sack and punt vs Chicago not flip a pick 6. Get as much as you can on the scramble and don't lateral to your WR as you are falling down inside the Jets 10.

Callahan and his staff didn't draft Levis. He's a 2nd round pick that they moved an extra 3rd to go up and grab. His acquisition cost was low. They will move off him if they don't think he's able to correct this stuff.

What a game last night!!

Side note...I won't pretend I know more about football than coaches, but I'll never understand why they all continue to use prevent D. Seems to never work. Teams seem to march down the field all the time.

Old saying goes all prevent defense does is prevent you from winning. We see the same thing in hockey.

I'm guessing with all of the analytics if it didn't work most of the time they would stop doing it. Although I noticed in the Memphis-Florida State game Saturday that Memphis went into it and started giving up yards and then mid stream they went back to blitzing. One of the first coaches I've seen be willing to do that rather than ride a prevent right into a loss.
