Everything fell the way I expected it to after the top 4…. Until pick 7. Hopefully the trench king nickname works from the left side.

Happy with the Latham pick...wanted Alt, but in Callahan I trust.

Falcons, what the hell you doing?

I would have preferred Odunze over Latham I think but you can't really fault the pick. Even if some think it was a bit of a reach the technical pick value from 7-14 isn't really that wide.

Atlanta on the other hand. Are you kidding me? They just spent $100m guaranteed on Cousins. So many other things they could have done there that would have helped them immediately. Instead they pick a guy who most thought was likely a 2nd rounder with the 8th pick just so he could sit on the bench for at least a year?

Don't forget the Broncos. They at least get cover thanks to the Atlanta pick. At least Nix has a less murky path to playing some in the upcoming season.

2 years. Cousins contract is full guaranteed for the first 2 seasons so I seriously doubt he is in before then unless they are going to pay him that kind of money to sit on the bench.

Mac Jones is a significantly better QB than Milton. Milton may have the best raw arm talent ever but he’s horrible at every other aspect of playing football. He seems like a good dude though so hopefully the NFL coaching unlocks something in him but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Will they carry 3 or will he be on the practice squad?
New coach, new answers. Pats have 5 QBs on the roster: Jacoby, the chosen one, Zappe, Milton, and Rourke (CFL QB). My money says 2 with one to squad and 2 to their couch

EDIT or rumor has it that Milton will switch tight end

Look, I'm a Red Sox fan and they are following the same pattern of surprisingly winning when they should be shit, like the Preds....

it's the hope that kills you.

This is the weirdest God damned baseball season I have seen injury wise in the MLB. Advanced statistical analysis might be the cause

I went to the Derby back in...80 I guess. Genuine Risk won. We went to the infield, of course, $10 tickets. We brought all sorts of food which was allowed, but they promptly threw out anything in glass containers (this was before plastic was the norm)... and then the very first thing sold on the inside was a mint julep served in glass. I'm still perplexed by that. Anyway, I tried it and thought YUCK. But I bought another since all my Cokes and Dr. Peppers had been thrown out...and hmmm, that's not so bad. Third one I was hooked and Fun Was Had.

We went in '85 or '86. My wife, who is from upstate NY, bought a mint julip. She takes one sip and hands it to me with a "drink this". It is the only time that I can remember drinking bourbon. We still have the glass.

It was the first year that the infield was $20.

I had 7 ways to win money on the Derby. I did not win anything. Horse racing is not my sport. The horses can't read the tote board.

The favorite came in 4th.I believe that Spend-A-Buck was the winner.
