Playboy used to have a ton of prominent authors and interviews and weren't beheld to the usual Fox News/MSNBC partisan stuff. Doubt they'll be able to hold fast with that new direction, but they needed it anyway.

I am so, so sick of late night traffic after hockey.

This new firewall we have at work is ruining all my daytime fun, ffs.

Gonna go give the IT guy a punch in the mug. Any tech guys know how I can circumvent it besides not showing up for work? :naughty:

What about posting from your smartphone?

Company phone. I have to switch from WiFi to LTE and then it's data costs once you get past the crappy limit they use as part of the data plan they purchased.

I know I really shouldn't complain since I don't even need to purchase my own phone.

Try fighting it both ways after a game at Staples. Then get back to me.

playboy announcing they will no longer be showing full nudity is the most noteworthy thing about the company since hef's reality show. i'm surprised its lasted this long.

Can you set up a home based VPN off your router? That's the way I roll especially on free WiFi networks. Feel a lot safer on vacations surfing through my machine at home than on the sketchy hotel wifi.

I do that, and I bet I have to drive much further than you when I do...so I get out of Staples and LA traffic and get into Inland Empire construction traffic. What can be a 1 hour 15 minute drive is usually 2.25-3 after a game.

Me too. It's a dwindling cultural institution but one that is/was huge for freedom of the press. Hef doesn't get enough credit for being a genius, and his staff is fantastic, but I doubt the magazine lasts much longer than he does. Then again, from those articles, most of the money Playboy makes now is for licensing, and Hef just runs the magazine at a loss for marketing, so who knows how long they can milk that.

That's too long a drive for a game, I'm not putting in three hours one way; I'll lose my SO for sure. She's already pissed I spend money on season tickets!

This is why Ontario is such a blessing for me :)

Kings games are an all-day event. It's what prevented me from having season tickets; either I was a college student with some time but too broke to afford them, or I had the money but no time. For weekday games, anyway. I'd have to leave at 330-4 PM and get there early to avoid massive traffic. If i leave after 4, well, let's hope I see the puck drop. Weekends its all good!

A Tustin couple is responsible for a brand new, terrifying and unique haunted house that is so scary it requires guests to sign a waiver before venturing in.
...

A group will spend about a minute in 17 different rooms, each with a unique theme and created with a painstaking amount of detail. All of them are filled with monsters lurking around every corner.
...

Another difference between the 17th Door and a traditional haunted house is that once the doors are closed, the only way to get out is to use the word "mercy."

So far, about 350 people have used the safe word, Heather said. And that is just two weekends into the house's opening. Luther said on average they are getting about 800 visitors each night, and most of them said the house is "intense."
