I am interested too.
I always like to figure out last name's origin.

Totally random tangent, but this reminded me of grocery shopping today. There was a mom in the checkout line with her baby and an old lady asked her the baby's name and how old she was. The mom said she doesn't feel comfortable giving out that kind of information to strangers and huffed out of the store. Really?!?!

Semi-related to this, my friend whose last name is Chu has vowed to name his first child Pika.

Awesome.
Just awesome.

Works for boy or girl too.

I will be very impressed if people still know the significance of it then.
That means Pokemon survived for so long.

Hey, its survived 17 years and hasn't shown signs of dying yet. The recent Pokemon World Championships was hosted in Vancouver this past summer (first one outside of USA so looks like they're expanding?).

My friends were in the tournament.
They are about my age.
