Power back on today! One day before I became eligible for the Government of Alberta Free Money for People Displaced by the Flood.

Anyone use TSN's text message service to follow the draft in the past? Is it comprehensive? I'm going to be away this weekend without internet access and am trying to figure out the best way to get notifications of picks/trades that happen.

Anybody else into West Coast architecture? This company builds (but doesn't design) some absolutely amazing, multi-million dollar homes on Vancouver Island. Some of the pictures in there will blow you away. I think the Tofino Panorama is my favourite.

How has this post been sitting here so long without any one asking, So what happened?

Completely forgot I had posted this. Well, back in grade 9, I was a pretty shy kid (Who wasn't) that had very low self esteem. I had just made a facebook account and had added some friends, so and so whatever. Anyways, when I got honesty box, I mainly did it to say some nice things to friends and crushes, but the first message I ever got was the worst thing ever, a huge paragraph long rant about how I should kill myself and that I was a pathetic excuse of a person. It destroyed my self esteem, had to go to therapy and such as my parents thought I was suicidal at that point. It all worked out and i'm better now, but it's a huge piece of my past I wish I could leave behind. I was reminded because i had re-downloaded all of my honesty box messages a year ago and saw them on my computer again, subsequently deleted them.

Really sorry to hear it.
Glad to hear you are better now.

I actually never heard of honesty box.
Hearing what happened to you...
Tells me that it cannot be a good thing.

Wish the sport was more mainstream.

Aggressive like hockey but with way more goals.

We were taught back in the day that Lacrosse was our national sport... yet how many high schools even have programs?

I only know of one in Langley that has/had a program, and the just too bad. A great sport to play and watch imo

Essentially Basketball with physicality

Honesty Box is the worst. It doesn't matter how many nice comments you get, it's the one or two mean ones that kill you.

My memory is pretty foggy but I believe they only text you with the first overall pick and picks made by Canadian teams.

NBA draft is hilarious. The commissioner is getting booed more than Bettman everytime he announces a pick, and all he does is smile and say I can't hear you

Plus a Canadian went 1st overall.

Yeah pretty funny. Cool that there's a decent chance Canada goes back to back first overall, too.

Crazy draft though, nobody knows where anyone is going.

Stern's trolling just gets better and better as the draft goes on
"I have to explain to our international audience that the booing is an American sign of respect"

get stern to the nhl

He is worst than Bettman.
So glad he is retiring...
Although it will probably be more of the same.

Only wish they would rig the draft...
Like the way they did it in 1985...
So Toronto gets Wiggins.
