Could someone recommend some good songs from him?
He was beyond my time...
But so many movies reference him...
And he starred in so many in the 70s and 80s.
He wrote some huge songs back in the late '60s like "Me and Bobby McGee", "For the Good Times", "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down", and "Help Me Make It Through the Night".

Most were countryish balads. I liked him more in the '80s when he was with The Highwaymen.

Johnny and Waylon are gone now though. Song starts at about 00:35.

Ahh...
Good ol' Willie Nelson.

Thanks Chairman.
I will check some of the songs out.
I remember him from Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore...
And he was referenced in Taxi Driver.
Now that I think about it...
Martin Scorsese was probably a fan...
Since he directed both movies.

I never got curious enough to check out some of his songs though...
I do not know why.
I will start now.

He's a very good actor. too. I recommend The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea, and the original (and best) Semi-Tough.

Speaking of Semi-Tough...
I noticed that Burt Reynolds is in it.
Back in the 70s...
He was basically in every single movie.
Strangely...
As soon as the 80s hit...
He faded off the map.

They prefer hockey fans.
I used to work at the concession...
And the interviewer did ask me to identify my favourite Canuck.

The way you worded that makes me think you were behind a mirror glass with a lineup on the other side, 5 Jo Blows and Ryan Kesler standing in a row, the interview guy says "You have stated Kesler as your favorite player, would you please identify him for us. Number 3? Ok" turns mike on "please step forward number 3"

All the people that were with me at the Canucks Team Store interview were all fake Canucks fans.

Ahh...
I actually never talked with any of my fellow interviewees.

Man...
I wish they will do that.
It will be very expensive interview...
But at least I will have a good story.

Saw Pacific Rim yesterday and liked it. Would recommend seeing it.

[spoil] Iffy on the concept of giant aliens vs giant machines, but they pulled it off nicely imo. Would have loved to learn more of the attacking species and their planet, but perhaps leaving it to my imagination was the best course of action. Battle scenes were done well, especially the one in Hong Kong.

Really liked Charlie Hunnan's performance, I really bought into his troubled past with his brother. Didn't much care for the scene in which the Corporal or whatever and the younger guy blow themselves up near the end, thought it was a bit rushed but overall I liked the ending. I have hoped that Ralliegh when he ejected himself would end up going through the portal to the other world but the way they did it was nice too. [/spoil]

Can anyone explain the popularity of Aubrey Plaza for me?
Although I thought she did a good job in Parks and Rec...
And Safety Not Guaranteed...
I find her really annoying in interviews.

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN NOT GUILTY

After following this trial, I can't believe the case made it to trial. Defence did an amazing job and imo this was the right verdict. That feel when justice :')

I will defer from what I think...
But from what I read...
It did look like that the jury did not want to send the man to a maximum of 30 years in prison.
Before they decided...
They asked for a clarification of man slaughter.

I agree that the defence did an amazing job...
Other than that awful joke in the very beginning of the trial.
They got all the right witnesses...
And they were able to cast doubt on the pre-conceived narrative.

Always pisses me off when trials that aren't about politics get so much unnecessary attention.

Btw...
Why did you think that this case should not have been to trial?
I have not followed it very carefully.

She's alright. She has the deadpan delivery down pat. She's like a female version of Zach Galifianakis, but Zach is better at this style IMO.

Same, but this one was more or less dragged into the political realm. It's not like it was a repeat of Casey Anthony.
