This game was the opposite of last game.

We outplayed them once we were down by 2 and 3 goals. Just like Dallas did to us last game when we were up multiple goals.

Shots were 10-5 Coyotes at one point while the game was still in reach.

This loss epitomizes the entire season. I have never been THIS disappointed in a Devils team. We have had crappy teams and you expect losses but this team has too much talent to be so bad. I think I need a break from watching for mental health purposes. This team doesn’t give a sh** so why should we at this point?! PATHETIC!!

Dano talks about accountability and making safe plays but there are no safe plays on the breakout.

You’re either passing it to a semi-open guy in the slot, looking around and getting eaten up by a forecheck, giving it to the near half boards to be eaten up by a forecheck, sending it around the boards to the other team, or chipping it to center ice and giving it to the other team.

How can you ask guys to make safe plays when every “safe” play has a bad outcome?

Just disgusting. The entire organization top to bottom. And I don’t have faith the GM is gonna be able to fix it. Because it goes beyond goaltending. Get some real men on the team. And that is not giving up assets for Kurtis f***ing MacDermid.

If we go the 7-13-2 under Green that I think we could potentially go, that would leave us with 80 points at season's end.

Probably still too many. There's still several teams behind us that have been bad all year long, one of whom we just lost to today, two of which we were swept by and one of which we lost to at home back in December when games were still meaningful.

I’m basically still on break since the Ranger home game. At least until Tuesday when I go to one of my last home games this year
 
Do we know for SURE that Jack needs surgery? It’s pretty fair to believe he’s hurt and may potentially need it but is it something that’s been confirmed around here? Haven’t been able to read up much in the last week.

May be we are lucky enough to "win lottery" and achieve second overall pick like we did in Nemec case.

WOULD BE AWESOME to draft Lindstrom. May be its even better for this team than Celebrini.

I've not been one of the ''WHY DIDN'T WE GET A GOALIE SOONER?'' and I certainly was very hesitant to fire Ruff because I knew who we were getting if he got fired this year and we're seeing that right now.

But the fact that the first move we made this year before acquiring a goalie or making a coaching change was trading for a goon......That's really just more joke fodder for this pathetic season.

I feel like people overrate how talented this core really is. If Hughes isn't leading them offensively, they are one of the worst offensive team in the league.

Palat, Haula shouldn't be nowhere close to a top6 of a team trying to contender. Our defense has like one offensive talented dman

Jack not being hurt would be the far more alarming outcome of this, but the fact they won't play him at center and he is taking literally zero faceoffs of top of looking like a shell of the player he is largely points to him being beat to shit
