Completely not shocking to see the 23-24 Devils down 3-0 to a team that's lost 18 of their last 22 games, lost every game in the month of February and 14 in a row, and have only beaten three different teams in their last 22 games.

Bringing it every time they're down or lost a game is painfully annoying. This team shouldn't be missing role players that bad against shit bag teams all year around. This is also, once again, proof to the people who cried goaltender all year that coaching > goaltender for this team's future.

At this point it's also on the players. Some of these guys need to do a lot of maturing in the offseason.

Jack Hughes and Dougie Hamilton being healthy make a bigger difference than Zetterlund and Yegor not being on the team. Especially weird considering they were both replaced by better players this season.

Otter is good imo but he's had the season of hell for the Stars, I think they're royally f***ed come playoff time because he just looks off and they're not beating the Jets or Colorado with this Jake Oettinger at all. And I'm fine with this, gives 0% chance that Travis Green is back next year.

It was obvious they didn’t play better in that game than usual. People just can’t get passed the bias of the final score.

It’s nuts that the Devils begrudgingly fire the coach only to then have the assistant run the team exactly the same.

Is everybody in coaching and management watching the team going, “Well this system that is severely flawed is working perfectly. It’ll turn around if the players just work harder.”

I can easily see us going 7-13-2 while he's here. I said that before the Dallas win, I still believe that.

2-3-0 so far, probably 2-4-0 coming up today.

We are better than that 21-22 Canucks team, so maybe we win a couple more than that.

Jack has no shoulder, Nico carried this team for virtually the whole year and is clearly tiring out, Bratt always does this yearly where he starts off absurdly hot and then dies off, Timo has been the anti Bratt where the obvious slow starts and now he's getting his game. I'm sorry but I don't buy it on the players when their entire roster has sucked the whole year. Maybe if it was 3-4 guys but not a full roster, that signals coaching issues.

It’s probably wearing to try and give a shit when giving a shit gets arguably the same result as not giving a shit.

Asking the team to run around the defensive zone for no reason and getting bad results only encourages players to get discouraged. Telling them it’s their fault and they need to play even harder is even more discouraging.

Then when a player does what they want instead of the system, and it succeeds, only encourages more cowboy play and more discouragement for playing within the team.

It’s tough to give 110% when you don’t believe in what you’re doing, even if you’re trying.

Because you're complaining about Shara/Zetterlund every chance you get as a gotcha moment This team would be shit with them and no Zetterlund means a gaping hole in the top 6 without Meier.
