What? It's not Callahan's fault Parise fanned on two grade A chances.

I thought Callahan played quite well, actually, coming from someone who has been as hard on him as anyone this season.

Agreed. I was against Callahan even really making this team/being a fourth liner. I also wasn't happy when i saw that line since Cally shouldn't be in the top 6.

However, they were a force, threw their bodies around fantastically (Backes was a BEAST) and generated some grade A chances.

Great game, not much to be upset with. Thought Quick could have stopped that goal, but it shouldn't have even been a shot.

McD was great Miller should go against Russia. Orpik still should sit.

I also thought Brown played well. The USA is fast, skilled and very edgy/tough. They are fun to watch and really can do damage.

I also watched Russia (came into work at 7 to stream it, had to be up at 5 haha) and they looked really mediocre considereing who they were playing.

Ton of talent, but seem to pass up way to many point blank chances. Easy to understand when you have a team of future hall of famers every where you look. But still, need to be more decisive.

Saturday should be great. We should route Sunday, no excuses.

He created nothing. He didn't have any big hits. He was just there.

What about his whole line? That whole line wasn't noticeable much in my opinion. First game of a whole new team. All about the chemistry in these instances and that line was the least involved. Give it another game or two.

I disagree. He was forechecking/cycling well, being physical (even though it wasn't super noticeable, his physicality was there), and just played a solid all around game, I thought.

People have developed a dislike for him. Now, they look at everything he does in a negative light.

Doesn't bother me, as long as Cally's performing on the ice

Ok, he can cycle. Most of the game was reliant on passing, something that Callahan was not able to do.

Parise-Backes-Callahan is a stupid line anyway. Reunite Backes and Oshie and go from there.

Had a dream that Zucc gets a hat trick and the SO winner in a 4-3 win over Canada.

Book it.

Cally's cycle game was really good but he wasn't great in transition or on the rush. That line is solid in a shutdown/forechecking role but if they want to generate offense then perhaps someone with more playmaking ability like Oshie would be a better fit.

I think Cally played better today than he has all season for the Rangers. That line controlled the puck all game, even if their game wasn't overtly flashy.

And since Anheuser Busch is owned by InBev...

And In Bev is in the end controlled by Rothschild holding interests. (this can be proved)
So you actually had €uropean beer in a guise of being American or Canadian.
Surprised about how many things ultimately turn out to be that way (Federal Reserve...) when you peel off enough layers?

McD... you God

Edit: he pushed off the boards when he was laying on the ice to poke check the guy

What don't they control or own? :D

McDonagh was the best US blueliner today, very inspiring play. We now hope Zuccarello doesnt get hurt in this Canada game, though there seems to be much less shot blocking on this ice.

Like I said, its a 5 team tourney. I highly doubt the Slovaks or Czechs have the depth to challenge for a medal this time around. The FIns are a good darkhorse team. Tatar was a thing to watch, though.
