Not to shabby ... 7 - 1 final

Lol nice avy/sig dude.

Great opening game. McD may have been the best defenseman defensively that game. He made a few questionable decisions but he was playing very confidently.

Callahan and his line are a solid checking line. They had a ton of o-zone time.

Have fun getting home

Good showing from team USA. Thought Callahan made some of his patented dumb hockey player decisions.

McDonagh was an absolute MONSTER on Team USA's second goal. I think it was the second goal, it was the one that was started by McD dumping it into the zone. But before that dump in, he won the puck from TWO Slovakia fore-checkers, just so easy and slick. Damn.

I think I put the jynx on Slovenia. Started focusing on that game a little bit more when it was 3-2, and that's when Russia really turned it on. Still though, to have Russia be only +3 after a game against Slovenia, and the US +6 after Slovakia? That's a great thing, IMHO.

Saturday should be a lot of fun.

LET'S GO NORWAY!

If Callahan stays with Parise, Parise won't score a single goal all tournament.

What? It's not Callahan's fault Parise fanned on two grade A chances.

I thought Callahan played quite well, actually, coming from someone who has been as hard on him as anyone this season.

Question regarding Nichushkin's goal in the Russia game.

I understand that the puck went in before the net came off, obviously. But he was very clearly in the crease before the puck went in the net, and I thought that was against international rules? Would someone be able to clarify the crease rules in international hockey?

My criticisms or DB

Cally played too much

Brown and Orpik shouldn't have made the team

Miller should be the starter

Missed the USA game, but very ready for Norway in an hour and a half. Don´t have very high hopes for this one though. An Olympic Canada team shouldn´t have to much of a problem beating us.

I just hope Zucc has a good game and that it don´t turn into a ****ing blowout.
