Canucks got points out of those 2 games. 1st game they stopped playing but managed to get a point out of it. 2nd game, it was a coin flip shootout loss and we are still playing without our #1 goalie and Dakota Joshua. Whats Oilers excuse of not even getting a point out of all those 3 games with a healthy roster and getting completely blown out by the Jets?

Zadorov has the intimidation factor and many goal scorers usually disappear or poop their pants when he is on the ice, just ask McDavid. As for Nurse, he is looked upon like a pylon which many players just dodge to score an easy goal.

While I agree that basing things on ifs is sketchy and in the end the oilers won and nothing changes that but I mean Silovs had an 877sv% and the nucks still came within 1 goal of advancing. I think it's fair to say the vezina runner up who was undefeated against you guys would have pushed us over the edge.

I mean there's a few examples but the spin on Emberson and Podkolzin or the spin on the offer-sheets really stand out.

I think Bouchard is a product of #97 and the team is slow, gutless and can't defend to save it's life and Skinner is unreliable and the team makeup makes little sense.

HOWEVER, despite all of that McDrai can absolutely make up for a lot of that as they showed last year but I don't think that's a recipe that is a given to work two years in a row.
