Get some Kleenex before you watch this one from the kids at OCH.
.
I would expect that it was.I wonder if that video of the kids is what made hin tear up. That'd kick me in the gut. That's for sure.
Age, mostlyAre people ready to pass on Douglas for cost or performance? Noticed that WGR hosts were talking about him as if he’s already gone
They must have already forgotten that Lamar has won MVP twice.Ravens blogs have gone bananas over Lamar “snub”. They’ve become a top 5 hated fanbase for me.
He declined over the course of the season pretty noticeably.Age, mostly
I think this somewhat got lost in the news shuffle, but it's actually exactly the sort of hire I've been clamoring for. Nielson is known for an attacking style with lots of press man and blitzing.
Do I want the Bills defense to become that? No. But my biggest issue with McDermott's defenses have been what an echo chamber the staff have been. Same concept for years on years with no voices ever coming in with new ideas. Nielson brings that. It's just a different way of thinking about defense and in an ideal world you can start melding some concepts together and hopefully the defense can take a step forward.
I don't even necessarily want the philosophy of the defense to change. And expecting it to I think is setting too high of expectations. What I want is for it to be more flexible and versatile. We went through a long process to give the offense more pitches, making it more multiple. Let's do the same thing with the defense. If there is a shift, that would also lean towards Douglass being gone since he is/was mostly only effective in zone coverage.
I love the man/bump and run style defense. It requires typically a spy on the QB from running but I think Bernard/Milano are a nice tandem to keep the qb under wraps.
I def see a corner being taken in the top 2 rounds, assuming we keep all 3 picks. Elam is such a shame. be startable and we could load up elsewhere. Bust of a pick puts it nicely.
absolutely there haven't been many as talented and humble w that killer instinct as Josh Allen you're rightLove Josh. Best thing to ever happen to Buffalo.
